We don't know any truth about his "injuries" or risk for injury at this point, so you can't really make that assumption.

You are putting way too much stock in the Astro's injury claim. You have no idea if he will ever need surgery or if it will ever impact his career.

I agree, no telling how legitimate this injury is. It was stated that he touched 97 mph right before the draft.
