I'd still be happy with that, I really would like to see him at LSU. But as an Astros fan I could at least be happy if he signs. I mean at least we aren't talking about the Cubs or Rangers here.

Staff won't be confident until after the deadline anyway. This is when tensions start to rise all around, tomorrow will be crazy no matter what happens.

At least the Cubs don't screw over the Tigers. They just screw over themselves by signing players like Edwin Jackson and Milton Bradley.

It's highly doubtful anyone with a vague "in" with the LSU Baseball team has any real knowledge on the situation with Aiken and Houston. All they probably know is that maybe Houston has contacted Marshall and maybe Marshall's asking price. Regardless, nothing gets done on our end until the Aiken situation is cleared up and I doubt anyone associated with LSU (outside of Mainieri, Marshall himself, or maybe some of his close friends) have any info on Aiken.
