What!? I love the guy. Way better than our boring arse radio announcers who will literally put you to sleep. Him and Ben make a sometimes long and boring game interesting imo

This right here! Watch any of the other SEC schools "video production" of their games, and you'll see that LSU is top notch, and rivals the more professional productions you see on other networks. We are topnotch in this area, the complainers should learn to appreciate that and be proud, not be whinny little bitches.

Lyn was getting names wrong left and right today. I was getting Hawthorne flashbacks. That’s more annoying to me than his one liners. He works well with Ben though who is really good at playing off someone like Lyn. I’m not a fan but I don’t hate him either. Could be better. Could be a lot worse.

Lynn reminds me of Hawthorne. Hawthorne could call every sport on a great level except baseball in my opinion. It sounds like Lynn is trying to use Hawthorne's schtick and while I said what I said at least Hawthorne was original in his quotes.

Ditto the guy who said “It means I’m doing what I love”, heck yeah. Baseball’s back and I love these guys & how they combine being homers and calling it like they see it too. Very thin line, but they walk it like pros.

Howthorne was just plain wrong 90% of the time calling baseball. He couldn’t see very well so he’d just make up pitches. He’d call pop ups to the infield deep fly balls. If you happen to be watching the game, you’d realize how much he’d just make stuff up. WatchESPN sorta ruined him for a lot of people. When streaming first started, they overlayed the radio call. It was horrendous and Hanny would have to correct him more and more just so they both didn’t look like fools.
Howthorne was already miserable. He’d miss multiple plays or pitches while complaining about a call or a pitcher who would pick off more than once very 4 innings. Any game that lasted over 2 hours ruined his day/night.
