if we win 2 out of 3 each weekend we should be good. Id love to think we could sweep auburn, a&m and the vols
Last time we beat Auburn 2/3 in Auburn was '07. We haven't played well their recently. Could we sweep them, yes. But I would be happy with 2 out of 3 on the road.

seems like we play like shite against the vols no matter how lousy of a team they have. unexplainable.

Would be great to win the series against aTm, bama and auburn and sweep UT. 19-10-1, not too shabby.

someone after the UGA game that the tie would kill us in the end. It might be the difference between 1 or 2 in the SEC

I really like LSU's position not just in the West but in the overall SEC race. I don't think just winning the West will be enough for a national seed this season.. Considering LSU's poor OOC schedule and lack of good OOC wins. Also ULL is putting a huge wrench in LSU's national seed picture this season. I've said all along this feels like 2001 and 2005. It's nice when a team can slump and come out of it with still the best overall record in the conference. LSU's weathered the storm well this season.

I fully expect LSU to win the West, but Florida is going to be tough to beat in the overall race. They host Mizzou this week and if they sweep them like they should, they'll be 15-6 in the league and it's hard to see some anybody catching them.

You can say LSU should sweep Tennessee, though. Crazy stuff happens.
On the flip side they still go to Alabama and play Vanderbilt.

Vanderbilt is really playing poorly of late, Beede has been a disaster. It's crazy how bad he'd been.

Let's just say I'd rather LSU's schedule.
The tie and Nola's loss (obviously not Nola's fault.. but that game) to Florida may loom large, unfortunately. But I like LSU's chances.

So according to the OP, all 4 of our remaining series are at The Box? Doesn't seem right...

Imo
Lsu 7-5
Bama 5-7 the rest of the way

As an Alabama fan, I would take that and not complain. A 5-7 finish in the absolutely insanely brutal stretch Alabama finishes with will pretty much lock up one of the 16 regional bids. The RPI will be Top 15 at worst and a 5-7 finish (17-13 overall conference) probably gets us an SEC tournament bye as a top 4 overall seed.

I fully expect LSU to win the West.
Florida will probably sweep Mizzou, lose 2 of 3 to Alabama, then win 2 of 3 of against Vandy and Tennessee. If they do that, then we need to sweep at least two series (probably Tennessee and Texas A&M) and win 2 of 3 in the others (probably Alabama and Auburn).
It's not impossible by any stretch. We're still very much alive in the SEC race. But 10-2 is a tall order even if we have weak competition. Here's hoping Vandy figures out what their problem is and helps us out by stealing the series from Florida.

9-3 or better would be ideal, but I think its totally reasonable to expect 8-4.

I think LSU will finish 8-4. As an Alabama fan, I hope we can finish 6-6. In that scenario LSU would win the West by a half game, but I'm just concerned with finishing in the top four and hosting a regional. A .500 effort against the rest of our league schedule should do that easily.

Your opinion is wrong Joshua. LSU goes 10-2 the rest of the way.
