40 continues to blow my mind with his production as a true freshman.

If I'm House I load the box and make them beat me down field.

Harold Perkins is special.

Ojulari is also a beast.

And we thought Will Anderson by himself was a problem.

Very similar start for Harold to Devin White. Harold is actually a little ahead of schedule. Kid's potential is through the roof.

I wish Maason was still available. Perkins is a freak.

Watching Micah Parsons last night.. it’s a good comparison.

This is due to the coaches, they are making it simple enough for a freshmen at this stage of his development to play fast. This guy is only going to get better as he learns more about the defense. I think getting our secondary even better with players returning from suspension is going to make Perkins even more productive. Teams like Tenn are not much of a threat to run a lot, these guys can just dial up ways to get to the QB.

Not at all a similar start to whites career. Perkins started off way better.

If Perkins would’ve played vs FSU we’d be undefeated right now.

He leads LSU in tackles and already has 1.5 sacks after only really getting on the field for defense in the last 2 games.

LOL....UT actually is VERY productive at running! How good remains to be seen due to the level of their competition so far. However, they have multiple RB's that have played extremely well so far. Also, their WR corps is outstanding. Each game a different WR has led them in yards.

I think we're better than people think but that UT game will be important and should we win, LSU will finally be back in the media with expectations of a very good season.

No doubt the TN game will be the true test for where our defense is as well as our offense and offensive line.
