I think lsu will have 4 WRs and a TE drafted lol
None on day one or two. None were special.

On the 2019 team, Ja’Marr, Marshall, Palmer, and McMath were all 4.3 guys.
They all ran right at or right below 4.4 except for Palmer who ran a 4.33. And some of those 40 times are from pro day. Wait till this group runs at pro day which typically is a faster track than Indy

4.40 for Brown is a terrible time

I watched. It looked fast. You didn't need a stopwatch to see that.
His first 20 looked ridiculous.

Don’t get me wrong, they’re fast. Especially Zavion, that’s crazy fast. But you’ve got a guy saying it might be the fastest WR in college football history. And another saying they are faster than the 2019 teams and NFL teams. On the 2019 team, Ja’Marr, Marshall, Palmer, and McMath were all 4.3 guys.
In order of number of receptions:
2019:
Justin Jefferson - 4.43 (combine)
Ja’Marr Chase - 4.38 (pro day)
Terrace Marshall - 4.40 (pro day)
Racey McMath - 4.39 (pro day)
Trey Palmer - 4.33 (combine)*
*1 reception in 2019
2025:
Barion Brown - 4.40 (combine)
Zavion Thomas - 4.28 (combine)
Aaron Anderson - TBD
Chris Hilton - 4.41 (combine)
3 of the 4 guys you describe as “4.3 guys” had pro day times ranging from 4.38 to 4.40. The other was a true freshman with 1 reception in 2019.
Meanwhile Chris Hilton’s combine time was the slowest of the 2025 group at 4.41. I don’t think it’s crazy at all to suggest the 2025 group was faster than 2019. Certainly not better than 2019, but faster? Sure.

Garrett Nussmeier (QB, LSU)
:Hand Size: 9 1/8"
That could hurt his draft stock. I’ve read the NFL teams do not like drafting quarterbacks with a hand size less than 9-1/2". Danny Weurffle had about a 9" hands. It was one of the reason he dropped so far in a draft.
Most NFL teams would like to have a quarterback with at least a 10" hand. Although he wasn’t 6', Drew Brees had a 10-1/2 inch hand. When Sean Payton first met Drew Brees, he said one of the things that really stuck out to him was that when he greeted him with a handshake, he realized that Drew had huge hands.

Brown is not only small, he is also soft.
Someone will draft him for his return ability though.

And I wonder if Hilton’s lower body injuries have sapped some of his explosiveness, his jumps and 40 were solid but not what he had been billed to be from the preseason camp talk every year
Hilton was reported to be faster than this in HS. He probably did lose that top end to his multiple injuries

Danny dropped because he had a VERY weak arm and a shot put throwing motion
