This game has the feel of a series where the momentum has dramatically shifted from one side to the other. We cannot win this game with just defense. Our offense and specials teams are not as good as last year. Bama's has improved in all areas.
I am trying to look for positives, but its hard to see us getting more than 175 yds of offense - if we can get that much. It will be very tough to stay in this game past the mid 3rd qtr.
We will have to have turnovers to win.

Seems like we have has the most success this year early in the game, either with screens or throwing the ball over the middle. If we win the coin toss, defer to 2nd half, and our defense and crowd force a 3 and out, I could see us driving down on our 1st possession and getting 6.
Now you have the lead in Tiger Stadium against the machine Nick Saban and all of a sudden that D, that crowd and even the offense start to believe!!! Plus Les gets the ball to start the 2nd half. And I've always thought our 1st possession of the 2nd half is generally pretty productive..

No one is asking you to bet your house on LSU or anything of that nature. We all see the inconsistencies on offense. We know that we will struggle offensively against Alabama. We don't need you guys to come on here and pound your chest with a "look at me" attitude and spew your criticisms all the time. We get it. We just choose to back the team and hope things get fixed. It leads to a much more enjoyable life than the insufferable one that you all live.
Sometimes I swear there is an award for what poster predicts a loss the earliest. If you want to concede a loss, go do it on the SEC Rant or the MSB, but get that weak arse attitude off of the Rant.

I don't think LSU is getting shut out at home in this game. I really am starting to believe the offense will show up and play it's best game of the season.

I don't think we get shut out, but no rational person should think that LSU doesn't have a chance in this game. Defense will keep it close and whoever executes better in the 2nd half will win. LSU will need a big turnover or special teams play to turn the tide (no pun intended).
