On paper, bama is better. Football is not played on paper though.

LSU's D will keep them in the 1st half. Bama will roll after half. Les can't fix all your problems in a week. Bama 31 LSU 3

Dude, honestly and objectively,
I would predict LSU losing this game by a field goal or a TD at this point right now. I've read very few posts that said LSU would whip them.

But I do see how some our fans get tired of reading that Bama is going to shut us out and beat us down in Tiger Stadium. This kind of talk is expected out of Holtz, Herbstreit, etc., but our own fans are predicting Bama to blow us out. That's kinda ridiculous. I'm not saying you don't want LSU to win, but LSU could win this game easily too. Every saturday is different. With the right gameplan at the right time, we could possible beat them down.

What is even worse is the retards that can't see our own deficiencies yet see them in a team that appears to have none

Les Miles is gonna come out with the same game plan he's had for years

yea, it's really a smart idea to abandon a style of offense that has resulted in sec and nc titles and challenges for them pretty much every year. as far as the term "game plan", you obviously haven't a clue what that means.

the same mickey mouse offense

what an awesome statement. you should be a political speech writer. put a spin on something you don't know anything about and trash the hell out of it. clueless, you are.

Miles has a great record, but he also has had the best talent/team in the nation for the last few years

the best talent? bull shite. there are a number of teams in the sec alone that has as good or better talent. our talent is up their with the best but we are obviously held back by rookie qb play and OL injuries.

if you are old enough to have witnesses LSU/bama games in the past, you should have a good enough memory to recall some pretty nifty plays miles pulled out of the hat to beat the tide.

you need to take the guru moniker out of your name. it's embarassing to your family and friends.

It has NOTHING to do with being scared...

What has the LSU offense shown this year, particularly in the passing game, that would lead any rational person to believe that they will be effective against Alabama's defense?

You people really are just a bunch of pussies. What is the point of this thread? Are you informing us of what happened earlier in the year? thanks champ.

Almost zero chance of LSU scoring an offensive TD against Bama with Les Miles' incredibly poor coached offense.

Plus, Bama's field goal kicker has gotten better while LSU's has gotten worse...Our D will stay on the field way too long and will wear out in the 4th quarter thanks to goofy arse Les Miles and his perennial shite show of an offense.

This is the game the Tigers have been waiting for all season. They will be playing out of their minds. Miles WILL have something up his sleeve for Bama. Believe!!!

Nobody is scared.
Apparently you don't know the diff between being realistic and being scared.

Which part of the LSU offense that you've seen through 8 games leads you to believe we can move the ball vs bama?

Please help me understand.

Based on both games last year I would agree with you, but I still have hope because the year before we opened it up against Bama and we seem to at least try to throw the ball. I've said this before, I believe the problem is the play calling and scheme. The routes we run don't test different levels of the defense. To me, to beat a Nick Saban defense you have to test the corners down field and use your tight end and backs in the passing game. We haven't shown to do any of this well so far this season. Hopefully it gets worked out.

I agree with much of what you posted. Two things LSU needs to work on is pass protection and utilizing the backs and the tight ends in the passing game.Alabama's O-line doesn't even let daylight come through much less defensive linemen and they throw to their tight ends and backs in the passing game. However, with Stud the Dud as O-Line coach and OC,I don't see much changing.I was hoping the Dud would have left with Crowton.
