LSU will be #2 in the final cfb playoff rankings behind Ohio State. This will allow the committee to avoid an LSU Alabama rematch in the 1 vs 4 game. This isn’t rocket science, everyone losing their minds over the rankings needs to take a step back and look at the bigger picture and the potential match ups

If LSU beats a top 4 team in UGA I don’t see how the committee doesn’t move them back to number 1.
As far as ratings or matchups go, Alabama and LSU just drew the highest rating in years. You would be crazy to think anybody would try to avoid part 2.

You are assuming LSU wins the next 2 games if they win only one they will be ranked #4.

I definitely think that is part of it. I also think they moved baylor up 5 spots for beating 6-4 Texas to create a play in game. It would likely be 6 vs 8 in the Big 12 Championship if OU beats Okie St and Wisconsin beats Minnesota this week

If this is the case then go back to computer rankings if the human element is trying to prevent rematches and lower ratings.

This, this right here is the reason I'm bitching. People always want to lay down and be told where to sit, frick that!!!! This team deserves that 1 spot. To have it taken away for going out and doing their job vs better
and more ranked competition just blows my mind.
