It's weird that the SEC has two 23-0 teams ranked #1 and #2 and not one other ranked team.

Who really cares if we're #2 or #3?

We'll be #1 if we win on Sunday.

G, you're not wrong, but I would add that I take glee when the coaches poll clowns the media poll in any sport. So, I'll allow it.

SEC is a weak league this season. Outside of Carolina and LSU, the rest are just average and that includes 8-loss Tennessee.

I thought Arkansas would be good this year but they are average. Bama and OMiss are overachieving which is easy in such a weak league.

The Big10 is the strongest league and the PAC12 is strong as well.

Honestly, it may APPEAR that way, but we really won't know until the NCAA tournament. If we get 5-6 teams into the sweet sixteen, it would show the league was not as bad as some made it out to be.

As it should be.
Not that polling in basketball is really that important, but our ladies do deserve this ranking based on the events over the past week.

So is ESPN going to display the AP or Coaches poll during our game with South Carolina?

Tennessee, Ole Miss and Alabama should be ranked. Not sure why the SEC is being snubbed this year.

They shouldn't. Tennessee has 9 losses now and can't even say they're just against really good teams anymore. Ole Miss and Alabama shouldn't be behind Tennessee is votes though.

Also F Tennessee because their bitter bitch AP beat writer ranked LSU 7th

She moved LSU up to 7 from 9 for beating Tennessee and had Tennessee ranked 22 last week and this week despite the loss. Maybe she's moves them up next week because the loss to Miss St was in 2 OTs.

Eh....

SEC is subpar this year. ACC, Big 10, Pac 12 all have much better conferences. I really think the conference took a major toll from the loss of a lot of big seniors from last year (including the COVID ones). A couple of programs had substantial losses from their teams due to the portal (Kentucky and Missouri especially). The OOC games actually backed a lot of that up in the games between difference conferences.

It is what it is. No one can truly predict how good conferences are going to be until the games play out. It can vary from year to year.

They’ll likely end up a #2 seed in the big dance.

I think Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Ole Miss would get their asses handed to them in Big 10, ACC, and Pac-12. I would be utterly shocked if anyone but LSU or USC made it to the second weekend of the tournament

I could see someone like Alabama or Arkansas having a hot shooting night and upsetting a higher seed. And Tennessee certainly has the talent. But you're most likely right.

Why , its the principal of it and the obvious bias of AP writers against, LSU,,,you think its no big deal , back in 2003 after agreeing to vote for the championship winner between LSU and Oklahoma as national champions , well guess what the AP poll reneged on their agreement and voted USC as the national champions ,,,later the USC and AP with from shared championship to the outright champions, so there you go don’t tell me its no big deal
