I am interested to see how they will handle parking/tailgating at Lambeau. My brother and I went up there a few years ago and basically there is a highway leading up to the stadium and all of the businesses close and sell parking in their lots. Also many people park on the street or in yards for a fee. It is a lot like Wrigley or Fenway in that the stadium is in the middle of a neighborhood. Motorhome parking may be a mile or so away from the stadium.

Unless I missed it, I don't see what the projected date is for the game up there. Hoping for Oct, so LSU fans can enjoy Octoberfest in Milwaukee, probably the one road trip where LSU cann't possibly drink all the kegs of beer in town. But definitely not in late Nov or Dec. That's one cold arse place in those mths.

I'm puzzled by the economics of the proposed deal. I understand that over any given two year period, a single neutral site game may be superior to a home and home series because it provides each team with the equivalent of 1.5 home games (i.e. half the gate from the nuetral site game plus the entire gate/concessions from whatever home game supplants the away game in the foregone home and home). However, two neutral site games seems tantamount to a home and home series, since either would provide each team with the revenue of a single home game (i.e. total gate/concessions from a home game or half the gate from two neutral site games). I suppose the timing of the revenue would be changed, but the total would be similar. Do these neutral site classics pay a fee on top of the gate? Do the schools participate in the concessions at the nuetral site games? Or is the fee in lieu of concessions?

I'd love to see a comprehensive economic analysis that shows how this is more profitable for LSU than a home and home. It may very well be due to various factors, but the cost-benefit math would be interesting.

I want the games played in Tiger Stadium. It sucks to have to pay extra to go so far out of town, when a home and home are perfectly fine.

Agreed.

There's the rub for me. I'm not spending a small fortune for ticket, hotel, flight and incidentals to watch LSU host a game in Texas. If I'm doing that, I'm more than happy to hit the road to another campus. I did it for Washington and I'd do it in a heartbeat for Wisconsin.

I'm ok with it. Lambeau(x) is on my bucket list and it does not cost us (LSU fans) another home game.

This year's game vs. TCU actually cost us a home game. It was originally a home &: home that was replaced with one neutral game. If people are going to be pissed, they should be pissed about the TCU game, not the Wisconsin series.

By the way, I'm still pissed about our scheduled trip to Colorado that was axed.

Alleva doesn't care. Keep in mind this is the same buffoon who was behind most of the mess in the Duke Lacross Rape disaster.

Interesting you say this. For us, we lost a home game against a MAC-caliber school in favor of the neutral-site LSU matchup.

I would assume it would be the same case for LSU. What does your 2014 non-con schedule look like?

How can anyone be against this? Seeing the Tigers play in the Mecca of football stadiums... Though, it'll be a little easier to get tickets if more of you bitch and complain and don't go, so carry on.

a rush to judgement and penalties under hysterical public pressure instead of doing his due diligence. in doing so he made a niiice mistake that now has several former Duke lacross players being even richer than when they came to school.

So what's the difference between a "home and home" series and a "home and away" series?
