Let's spend $20 million building and updating a new stadium and then reward the fans who have helped pay for it by having games in Texas.

Yaaay, great decision!

They're making it ever more enticing to just start selling my season tickets over face value, using my "earnings" for my donations, then just buying tickets to games I want to go to.

Awesome.
Yes, I miss a home game.
But....
Recruiting In Houston and...
Two family vacations-The Wisconsin Dells and a long weekend in Houston.
And we get to play a team that has a great fan base and a great history.
I always pull for Wisky.
Love this series.

1 game in Houston is going to help SOOOOO MUCH in recruiting!!!

Home & home would have been 10x better.

This is horse shite. These are not NFL teams. Fans want to see their team at their own stadiums and experience the traditions schools have to offer. I am so sick of these neutral site games.

Love the series and I understand why LSU wants a game in Houston to help with recruiting that area

Why can't this be a home and home series? Serious question. I know it seems to be a trend across college football and it has something to do with sponsorship and tv, but why can't the same deals be made with home games???

I get it, but sharing is caring, dudes! We love our Tigers here in Houston and we'll pack that stadium! Plus, the money, national exposure, and recruiting presence in SE Texas are all pluses. Geaux Tigers!! Can't wait!!!

There is not as many season ticket holders, TAf or Tradition Fund dollars either.

What really makes me mad is, I won't be able to go to Wisconsin.

I am going to the Summer Olympics in 2016 and that trip would come on the heels of 10+ days in Rio.

I was excited about that road trip and I don't care if we played them in Madison or Lambeau.

Lambeau Field

I've been there and it isn't that special. Would much rather be playing these games at Tiger Stadium and Camp Randall (Madison is a pretty fun college town.)

I feel you bro and I'm not telling you you are wrong. But I look at it differently-I get to schedule two awesome family vacations that end in an LSU victory where I've never seen one before.

Love the idea of playing Wisky, but it absolutely sucks that we don't do a home and home with a program that also has one of the best gameday atmosphere's in college football. This really robs both fans bases to appease tv viewers.

I think it has less to do with this and more to do with this:

This is all about recruiting in Texas.

For both teams. Playing in Lambeaux is just for giggles and to keep up appearances.

I don't see a problem in playing a big game in Aggie Land. Some possibility it may help.

As long as we keep beating Aggie we'll be fine recruiting against them.
