2 things ... those shorts were SHORT and I remember when the student section took up a NICE chunk of the PMAC. AND we weren't behind the goal. Good times.

I grew up with Vernel so I went to a bunch of their games while he was there. It was the way LSU basketball should be. Say what you want about Dale Brown's X's & 0's but he could recruit and played the underdog role like no other. Yes they should have won it all but on certain days they were as good as advertised.

I was looking for this on youtube the other day. It is the game I mentioned on the thread about the loudest most exciting game witnessed in the PMAC. LSU basketall actually had fans back then.
