I’ll say it again and again. People that say this have ZERO clue what the hell they are talking about. Dobson was THE HIRE because of what he proved everywhere he coached from Southern Miss to as an assistant at OU, they built that program with him. You can say what you want but those teams hit the shite out of the ball when they were rolling. One season I think nearly the entire starting line-up hit over .300.

Then enjoy the lack of interest going forward....because people are tired of watching this bs product. Funny you didn't mention pitching...just hitting. They may have been a national seed but they were 8th or 9th in the co ference.

I’m just stuck inside because the weather sucks here today. Believe me I quit on lsu softball years ago with dobson’s bats sucking for half a decade.

I agree, but I can't be the only one taking this issue to the Athletic Dept. and/or Board of Supervisors. Believe me, as long as softball is ranked just about every year, they don't see the need to change anything.
A national championship in softball doesn't bring in the money to justify putting 100% effort into winning one. They view softball as a little bit more popular than soccer at LSU.
If Beth has two consecutive years of not being ranked, then they will "start" to grumble - if the fans demand a change.

It's clear that Beth freezes up when the pressure is ratcheted up and her team follows. Even the announcers were just talking about how they look like they're not playing loose. That's in the head coach.

I’m talking about LSU dumbass. Like 2 seasons ago? Losing Coffey absolutely hurt.
The 2023 season saw LSU claim the No. 10 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, marking its 17th consecutive tournament appearance and 24th overall appearance. The Tigers posted a 42-17 record for the program’s sixth 40-plus win season over a nine-year span. LSU led the SEC with 489 hits with a .312 batting average which ranked No. 3 in the SEC. The Tigers’ batting average and .393 on-base percentage both ranked No. 5 in the program’s single season record book. LSU’s offense also registered 319 runs, 296 RBIs, 196 walks and a .457 on-base percentage. Dobson helped coach five 2023 NFCA All-Region selections in Ciara Briggs, Georgia Clark, Danieca Coffey, Ali Newland and Taylor Pleasants. Briggs, Newland, Pleasants and McKenzie Redoutey were each named 2023 All-SEC selections.

I personally don’t understand it either. At this point I’m just optimistic with the talent level improving over the coming years. Otherwise I agree with many about Beth’s teams and their composure. Just because I agree that doesn’t mean I’m going to babble over her being fired over this
