Yay-HEY!

You can't spell Texas Bowl without L-S-U. Incredibly it'll be the 4th time in 10 years the Tigers arrive in Houston for a bowl game

I agree with that, but I was disagreeing with the poster I was referring to.

I live 20 minutes from NRG, but I also go to Baton Rouge for every home game. I much rather go to a playoff and/or major bowl game, but since our season sucked so much, I was going to miss my first bowl game in the 2000s... I guess I'll drive over to NRG & keep my streak intact.

The group that runs the Texas Bowl also puts on the week 1 kickoff classic at NRG.
We probably made some kind of deal with them when we backed out of the home and home with Houston.

screw Nuss

This is what I just can't understand.

Dude was in top 5% in velocity last year, and this year, bottom 5%. That clearly indicates an injury. You saw MVB, so that was why they had Nuss playing through the injuries. On top of that, we had the worst offensive line in school history, and horrible OL coach, a terrible OC (play caller), and not the best RB coach either. Combine that with TE's that didn't block, WRs that dropped a lot of balls, and not the best route runners (bad wr coach as well), and the fact that LSU couldn't throw deep because they couldn't block 3 on 5, for more than 1 second. I'm sure with our line, his first instinct should have been looking for an open rec in his progressions, but unfortunately his first look was where the jail break was coming from on the DL. I'm not really even defending him, but he never had a chance, nor would any QB behind that OL and playcallers.

But can LSU score? A sickening string of consecutive three-and-outs the last two games under Martin Van Buren's leadership doesn't inspire confidence

Remember when bozo Kelly said something about keeping receipts?

So glad that jackass is gone from this program. Good freaking riddance.

Lots of Negative Nancy's here but the coaching staffs on every team in a bowl loves the extra weeks of practice. Usually the non starters get the reps. I'll take what the coaches think is best for the team over all the haters here. Everything since the LK hire is a positive for the program.

Happy to see my Tigers one more time this year. Also I will wake up in my own bed and go to bed in my own bed instead of traveling.

Same bowl as when we had 33 scholarship players and a WR playing QB just after the Kelly hire

Damn, $100M later and we're still in the Texas Bowl.

Yes, if you're weak alcoholic trash that's so miserable that you try to exit reality at every opportunity. (As many on here apparently are) Yall are mind numbingly weak!

so no mention of the pathetic OL, lack of running game, playcalling....just Nuss sucked. Got it. You were probably one of the ones screaming for MVB all year, then we we got him....crickets. Tells me you have zero critical reasoning skills.

Let’s see. I’m a combat veteran who was a sgt in the Army, built my own home by myself, retired early so I guess I have some critical thinking skills.
