A friend sent me this photo. Does anyone know when this game took place against Ole Miss? I do not remember the Tigers wearing purple pants, except some strange game against Kentucky in 1995.

Only time was UK game in 95 that I can remember. It would be cool to have purple pants and purple helmets in the rotation...but not ones that look like those.

Only time I knew of LSU wearing Purple pants were against Kentucky on the road many, many years ago. Hal Mumme (sp?) was the coach for Kentucky. LSU lost big and I've never seen them since. Helmets were not purple and I'm pretty sure it was the white jerseys.

The only purple pants game was 1995 at Kentucky. Ended in an LSU loss.

That's definitely Buster Davis in 2006. We wore Gold helmets and Purple pants agains UK in 1995.

I don't like the stripes, but purple pants look damn good. Hell, we wear them in spring practice. Let's break them out for a game.
