quote:NCAA limits travel for a non-tourney away game to no more than 48hrs prior to game. Of course there's always exception application. Which I'd be filling out forms to do if I were LSU right now. Hopefully NCAA would at least accept application even though still up in air if necessary.
If they play IN Gainesville shouldn't our players leave BR THURSDAY instead of a shite weather show on Friday??
quote:that is indeed getting into the area of just plain freaky
In '64 the game was in BR and postponed to later in the year because of Hilda, Spurrier was the Florida QB.

Love hearing people saying they are dragging their feet or scared to play somewhere other than the swamp. Do you honestly think they aren't considering safety of families and homes first or are you actually that stupid?
Also, Can you imagine what this board would look like if they were talking about moving a Florida, Alabama or Ole Miss game out of Baton Rouge to another location due to a natural disaster? Highly doubt you dumbasses talking talking smack about Florida fans would be thrilled about the idea of it being ANYWHERE but a neutral site or cancelled. Please continue acting like you would be fine with a rivaly home game becoming an away game.
Get real people.

I hope this storm heads out into the Atlantic and leaves the US coastline with minimal damage. it looks like it could get ugly. As for the tards on here discussing decisions, there are millions of dollars at stake. I can totally get waiting until this afternoon. Stay safe Gator fans. Geaux Tigers.

I agree with you on that one.

Their fanbase would rather cancel the game than play in BR. Thats how terried they are of their current team coming here.
Their fans prove you wrong

I just cannot imagine us going to BR unless it is a last resort (we might prefer to just cancel it in that case)

If they move it, we all know it will be one of those infamous night games
quote:
Certainly this game is not going to be moved to LSU for god's sake!

It might be canceled from what I hear

It might be canceled from what I hear. They can't move it to a later date because both teams don't have an open weekend at the same time and unlike the UT game, they can't move it to the weekend after the end of the regular season (SECCG).
I much prefer this scenario

Moving the game or even cancelling it might be great for UF due to our injuries.

Playing in BR would be devastating. I like our chances at home but the odds get a LOT worse anywhere else.
quote:
Could they move it to ATL, Miami or Mobile?
I would think that would be better than moving it to BR like they did the South Carolina game last year. Remember, that was the game that basically sent Steve into retirement. He quit the following week.

I really hope they cancel/reschedule the game over moving it to BR

frick cancelling it. There is time to make changes.
If the only option is to move it to BR or cancel it, then Florida should have to forfeit the game if they decide to cancel.

Note how many of them dont even accept BR as a possible alternative. They believe the game will simply be cancelled if they cant play in Gainesville
quote:
I don't see us traveling to BR. I would rather see it canceled than us playing in BR. Hopefully Foley says no change of site
quote:
I don't see how LSU can travel to Ocala on Friday in that mess, which means the game cancels.
quote:
AD needs to step in and make sure this game is played on Sunday or move it to Tampa
quote:
I'd rather just postpone the game to another day or date or even cancel it.
quote:
just totally cancel the game
quote:
I would do everything I could if I was UF not give LSU home field advantage.

Going to Baton Rouge 3 straight years should be avoided if at all possible.

One track has it coming to Louisiana. No one knows wtf this thing is going to do.

Clearly, that's the Negatiger Model.

No matter where all the tracks show. Some arse hole always has one line right up the river into NOLA

I was talking about the decision makers who actually make the call to move the game. Of course the fans dont want to move the game to BR.

That red track looks like an a-hole.
