This has to means Jones is gone... Right???

Is this a common thing to happen?

If Jones isn't gone, Alleva is more incompetent than than I can believe.

Likely means Simmons is a gone pecan, or worse.

JJ is safe, no way Alleva will fire him & face having to pay his buyout. That is the reason making the rounds bout the women's BB coach. Her contract runs out next yr & she is gone. And it was the reason CLM is still here apparently. But, realistically, who does leave beyond Simmons? Realistically?

LSU sports does not have the money to buy JJ out. He will stay.

Al McGuire at Marquette once chose the NIT over the big dance, but no one that I no of turns down the shitty NIT...The LSU basketball program is dysfunctional and in a state of flux.

LSU lost @ Florida 68-62 on 1/9. That's just one game. Their season didn't come undone until 2/16 when they lost to Bama 76-69 AT HOME. Something happened with that game, and Coach Jones is not totally to blame.
