LSU Team rankings matter

No other team in the country has a Top Six Offense and Defense!
LSU is 6th in Offense and 4th in Defense.
Ohio State is close with 10th in Offense and 6th in Defense
The argument about Strength of Schedule is also a joke since LSU is mostly around 10-15 everywhere but is higher on a couple sites like TeamRankings.com.
I said it earlier this year after Ole Miss, that sucked to lose but the comeback mattered and our season will be Novembers gauntlet.
Not only do we control our fate, if LSU runs the gauntlet and comes out 3-0 (4-0 with Arkansas), they can also single handily change the trajectory of the entire conference this year.
Assume Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee win until us, and we sweep all three…
We would be giving all three teams their third loss of the season and most likely eliminating them from Playoffs.
Tennessee plays UK this weekend and if they beat them, they would also be a highly ranked team when we get there.
Lots of stuff that can help/hurt our season in November

I feel like the team rankings will matter to the committee when they are looking at us, especially if we are 9-3. Its hard to not look at our body of work and say we are not deserving of the playoffs if we finish 9-3.

This team took a little while to gel (as expected), but no one wants a piece of LSU right now. Even with 3 losses, we should be considered for the playoffs because the playoffs are about the team that will hit the field in December, not if you were lucky to start the season and have tailed off (or if you had a cupcake of a schedule and loss your one or two big games).

We have to win the rest for a playoff imo. that said, other teams losing could change that but the fact is that we need to beat the likes of Alabama, Texas and Tennessee. It is not complicated.
