It is not super far fetched to think that their back up is better than anything LSU has to offer

Again he could be A LOT better than what we currently have and still not be even close to making us title contender.

So a player who couldn't even win the starting job at a Big 10 program will come to LSU and win the national championship?

It’s not like he was playing at Illinois or some other lower tier school.

He didn’t win the starting job apparently due to an injury and got passed over by another very highly rated prospect.

There were reports that Flynn was actually going to pass up Russell, but then he got mono and couldn’t compete. Things worked out quite well in the end.

Burrow is a Plant, a Trojan Horse, sent to sabotage your program. Revenge for the 2007 NC game. BWAHAHAHAHAHA'

Sure the hysteria is entertaining for people outside of LSU, but finding an outstanding QB that can lead LSU to the promise land is like finding the Holy Grail.

I think our white fans just want to believe this.

Russell was a far better QB in college and has arguably the strongest arm in the history of the sport. They had the same record their last year as starters and Russell's stats were on another level.

Flynn: 202/359 - 56.3%, 2,407 yds, 6.7 YPA, 21 TDs, 11 INTs

JRock: 232/342 - 67.8%, 3,129 yds, 9.1 YPA, 28 TDs, 8 INTs

If Russell stays in 2007, we go undefeated.

And Russell was getting playing time years before Flynn, so I don't believe a second of that rumor.

It’s not far fetched at all if you watch his film. I think with Aranda and the Defense looming solid that a qb like burrow could put us at least n the discussion of sec contenders.

The fact that we think it’s good that our staff might not need to coach him up is a huge indictment of the current state of LSU football.

THIS. ALL. DAY.
It’s a CRYING shame that some of the O “blind support” ops team is actually thinking this way. Well that’s just outstanding. Let’s hope that we get a slew of transfers that were tutored by competent coaches elsewhere to come in to cover up the GLARING deficiencies by our coaching staff. Everything would be GREAT then!!!! Geaux Tigers!!!!!

If we continue to bring in QB transfers, we will never be able to recruit top HS talent at the position.

I can understand the parents of current LSU QB’s being negative but not the fans over QBs transferring here.

LSU needs someone to lead them, regardless of its a transfer, fans should be cool with it.

This could also backfire hugely. Burrow could take that as Orgeron putting the weight of the world and monumental pressure on him.

He probably knows twice as much about running an offense as our coaching staff.
