For your review and discussion:

Slaughter, spikes to the shin, vs. Florida 2017 - Interference called.

Jankowski, spikes to Nola's shin, vs. LSU 2012 - Interference not called.

Interference should've been called against Stony Brook, just like it was correctly called last night.

Slaughter's was interference... just wish he would've gotten his money's worth.

Still should've been interference on Jankowski for lifting the right leg and clearly trying to impede Nola.

Right leg vs left leg makes a big difference IMO

Look how their guy actually bothered to make it look like he was interested in second base.

Is there a pic of Slaughter at the same angle as the SB play?

Someone posted a pic last night, but it was clear on the broadcast replay, Slaughter made no attempt to go towards the bag. It was a dumb move by him.

All that hot air wasted to guarantee victory before the series, Mainieri could have talked to Jake about sliding into 2nd base with a CWS on the line. Dammit

UF did the same thing, just didn't slide. Still arked out of the base path to interfere on a dp.

Coach was quite confident at the pep rally.

When has a coach of a team not been confident at a pep rally?

That's the whole point of the pep rally. You don't go there and say, "Hey guys, thanks for paying all of your money to come up here and watch this, but we may not win this thing."

Between this and your weird attraction to Mainieri's sons, you may want to take a break from posting.

Slaughter should have know that a double play still ties the game and should have done nothing other than slide as hard as he could directly into second base.

But not allowing Smith to score is just stupid and needs amendment in the rule book.

bullshite. If anything the rule book should be amended to eject the player. That is dangerous, and the penalty almost can't be too harsh.
