I figured Bama would get more than 12 first place votes after last night.

Not if you saw how Bama completely dominated on both sides of the ball and came to the conclusion that UF was VERY overrated. They may end up finishing 4th in the SEC East. Bama's other "quality win" is against Arkansas who will probably finish no higher than 3rd in the SEC West. LSU has beaten 2 teams that will probably win their conference and go to a BCS bowl and did it on the road. Still Bama did the most of any top 5 team to steal some votes this weak but OU and LSU didn't really do anything to lose votes.

LSURussian, you are making very ignorant comments. I disagree.

Clearly, linking fans actions in the stands to a teams ranking in polls is absolutely fricking moronic. Fefusing to see that after someone calls it to your attention is rantard material.

You are either a troll or a joke. Which is it?

It's like people here don't know how the polls work.

How was LSU going to lose an almost 40 1st place vote lead to Bama? Get real people.

Tide should be No. 1. With that being said the games will tell the tail of the tape.

finishing 3rd in the west does not mean u r a mediocre football team considering the #1 and #2 teams in the west are the two best football teams in the country... however arky did prove to be slightly overrated this past weekend

As long as LSU and Bama are undefeated, then 11/05 will be the best game of the season. As per who would win today, I'd have to pick LSU in a close, low scoring game - say, 13-7 with Wing's punting being the difference....
