Howard is talented enough to start as a true freshman. It's possible he beats the other guys out, as they'll be implementing a new offense so the existing guys won't have as big of an advantage.

The only upside Max would have on Nussmier is experience. With a good coach and hopefully a few pick ups of decent OL in the transfer portal I believe Nussmier will win the starting job next year.

Depends on the new coach but I think it will end up being Nuss or Walker.
