I agree that it hasn’t been done frequently especially in the SEC however that doesn’t mean it couldn’t be done . I was simply making the point any number of coaches with the exact same roster could have achieved what Torina did for less money. Unlike some on here I won’t disparage you for your opinion and I certainly leave open the possibility I could be dead wrong

@TigerAssociation (aka Mr Jones): Looks like you got signed back onto the shite show LMBO. I'll wait for more reasonable engaging "adult" posts. May have to wait until after Regionals to get some of those again......

Just curious are you saying no one can think a coach should be let go or we can’t have an opinion on their performance? What’s a message board for but differing opinions? I don’t get u guys

I’m not saying it can’t be done either. It’s just a huge gamble that’s more likely to fail than to succeed. The program isn’t in such dire straits that taking extreme risks seems reasonable.

I’m confused. Does LSU have a good roster or a bad one? You don’t seem to be very consistent in your thoughts on that. If the roster is good, Torina deserves credit for putting together the coaching staff that built and developed that roster. If it’s bad, then she deserves credit for being competitive in the toughest conference in the country.

Not inconsistent at all, again, it’s the worse roster she has had in her tenure imo and any number of coaches could have taken the same roster and had exactly the same results or better for less than 500k. The 2 things aren’t mutually exclusive! Competitive to me isn’t finishing 9th

But it’s still a good enough roster that they should have had a winning record against a conference schedule that included 5 Top 10 teams and 7 Top 25 teams out of 8 teams played?

I don’t know what you are wanting to hear?? They beat up on the bad teams in the SEC minus Florida and were 5-10 vs the better teams I guess that’s competitive to some but not me…they lost series vs Texas, swept by A&M, lost series to Arkansas, South Carolina, they swept a bad Kentucky team, best wins were vs Florida, won another series vs Georgia who lost every series and won a series against a average Bama team. So they won 1 series vs a team that finished ahead of them, that’s the definition of mediocre

So the Florida series doesn’t count? They were 7-11 in conference against the Top 15 and 10-11 overall. They lost 4 series and won only 2 (plus 3-0 non-conference) but they were one bad inning from winning 3 of the 4 series they lost. They were absolutely competitive in every series but A&M and even in that one the offense played well in the first two games.

Kenny Gajewski
is a piece of shite. I wouldn't want him anywhere near our program.

Maybe if he didn't treat last year's WCWS MVP like shite and lied about, Oklahoma State might have won a national championship last year instead of OU.

Seems like we have a couple of people worked up about the lack of playing time for one player.

I actually forgot what time we played yesterday as I was driving in west Texas listening to Pandora & news on the new Pope. Lots of entertainment here when we lose.

Being right at .500 against the Top 15 is not mediocre. It means you are an average Top 15 team, so just inside the Top 10.

Consistently being in the middle of the pack is the definition of mediocre.. it just is…If Brian Kelly is in the middle of the pack next yr what will happen to him?

18, respect your opinion but some ppl want to win and if Gajewski were to bring a World Series to LSU do you think anyone would care about how he treated your family friend? There are stories about how Beth treated certain players from their own mouths on social media, does anyone believe Beth is a bad person ? I wouldn’t necessarily want KG but would take a Trisha Ford in 2 seconds, Ehren Earlywhine too.
