SEC should blow up college football and especially the Big 10. Sign a deal with the Saudi's and create a LIV college football.

I am in Montreal for awhile and yes. They love Louisiana. Saw a Lafayette Louisiana shirt, few New Orleans tourist shirts and they have a restaurant chain in Quebec called Baton Rouge. You get better treatment too I notice having Louisiana connections.

Olympic Stadium would be perfect for the game. Percival Molson stadium is outdoors but way too small.

Paris could work. A got a few thumbs up from people with my Louisiana State sweatshirt. People say the travel expenses would be high and that is true….but it’s great to spread the fanbase.

I lived there for two years in the early 90s. There's not much awareness of the French heritage in Louisiana. They know New Orleans for the jazz and they are of course aware of the history, but it's not that big a deal for them. After all, Louisiana isn't the only place in the world where the French influence is strong. And, at least when I was there, the only American sport they were the least bit interested in was the NBA. there was some knowledge of the NFL, but they didn't have a clue about college football and what a big deal it is over here.

Well France isn’t exactly known for their educational system, compared to say Switzerland or Germany.

I had to come back to this thread again just to make sure I gave it a downvote.

You're only going to pull military families from the UK and Germany, and some curious people. The French DGAF about the US, LSU, or Louisiana.

But I'd go to that game

been several times. try saying New Orleans bro, never met a Parisian who didn’t know it.

Sorry that you’re from St. Francisville and no one has heard of it.

LOL, Parisians despise Americans and have almost zero knowledge of Louisiana. They’re rude just to stir up a reaction and confirm their biases. Granted, you get out near the coast and Normandy, the sentiment shifts a bit.

I would dig a game in Spain. Play at Barca,s Camp Nou.

I’m a 1930 born in Eunice LA third generation French. Lived in Paris after stints at LSU and in USMC. Wouldn’t get too excited about playing college football in Paris, France. Not exactly a know commodity there. Now Montreal would be outstanding in every aspect.

Know Montreal very well. It would be easier and cheaper to get to and they love football. Their main university has a major canadian football team.
