Agree. Time to start questioning grimes for both performance and attrition.

This is literally the single greatest OP I have seen since we lost to MSU. No sarcasm, I'm quite serious.

Grimes is trash, I question Moffet also. Our O line has stunk it up for last 4 years. Gets pushed around.

Firing bad ones and replacing them with better ones usually does bring improvement.

I think this is on Canada and O more than Grimes. I do t understand why 5 linemen would leave in the off season when they didn't before. That has got to be on the changes. Teheuma was the biggest loss of all and you can't make up for strength, experience and chemistry.

Grimes has had too much time & has produced too little.

I know some folks point to last year, but that's an outlier since his time at LSU

Mawae all but begged for the job a few years ago and didn’t get it because he didn’t have any coaching experience. It’s time to bring him home and let him teach kids the things he used to do on the actual football field to get him in the NFL HOF. I’d rather fail with that guy than have Grimes putting a bunch of soft OL on the field game after game.

Did LSU actually do that?

We hired an unqualified coach because he's "one of us", so by all means lets hire an OL coach who's only coaching experience is basically the NFL equivalent of GA, from which he was not retained with zero college experience that's never recruited because he's one of us.

I think that's going to happen in the off-season. Doubt if O will the plug during the season.

This OL is so bad talent wise, don't know what KM could do right now; maybe just simplify the blocking scheme to where they can execute it without all the mental mistakes.

Would love to this joker (JG) be sent packing in the middle of the season, but don't think its going to happen........

Toby Weathersby in particular has been a HUGE disappointment for the Tigers, ever since he started against Bama in 2015. He's the reason opposing teams get into the Tiger backfield

While I get your angle, I actually think Kevin could do well here.

I am friends with him and can tell you that hiss technical knowledge and motivational talents are off the charts. That does mean something.

This alone is a reason to make the change now.

“Hi kid. My name is Coach Kevin Mawae. I played at LSU and in the NFL. I’m in the HOF of both. I can teach you what I did to get there.”

Done.

The guy is literally the best to ever play the hardest OL position on the field. It’s insane that anyone could have anything negative to say about getting that guy on the staff over Jeff Grimes.

O doesn't want a more "Louisiana boy" than him on the staff. Then he'll lose the only thing he has.
