If Coach O is going to be the head recruiter, does this have any effect on Josh Henson?

I was thinking the same thing. I think Henson has done a very good job.

Maybe Henson and Orgeron can be co-recruiting coordinators? Hahahahaha. I'm beyond excited about this hire.

Good work Les! Now, go after our home boy STs coach. You know who he is. With this group we have a great chance to succeed. Looks like you hired some beef and a big chief. No back talk or sass with this group.

I wonder if he'll be at the game tonight. We might as well get him on the sidelines now.. The Saints obviously have nothing left to do this year.

Is Vance Joseph considered a top tier Db coach ?

If so could we possibily have one of,if not the the best coaching staffs in CFB.

I applaude Miles for going out there and getting the best possible candidates and getting Assistant coaches that are really in no hurry to get to the head of the line and become head coaches. I hope this combination of coaches can survive here for a long while and bring in the type of talent we need to consistently compete for SEC and BCS titles. Also I think Miles saw the writing on the wall with Petrino bound for success @ ARK and Nutt putting together a decent program @ Ole Miss, not to mention what Saban is going to be able to do @ BAMA. The SEC west is going to be a rough place to play for a while.

Yea, and how much does Crowton make?

Look, all else being equal I love these hires. But with O making more than Chavis and then being Recruiting Co-ordinator, D line, and Assoc. Head coach or something, I'm concerned. Who does he report to? DLine should be subordinate to DC but being Assoc. Head Coach and making more money?

And what about Henson, who seems to be doing a great as recruiting Co-ordinator?

What do you think BP?

Is anyone else concerned about problems that might be caused by Orgeron making as much or more than the Chief?

You must remember that Chief got a substantial raise compared to what he was making in Tennesee. He was technically "let go" so I think he's happy to be here and to have an opportunity to coach at an elite program and to bring LSU's defense back to glory! Orgeron also has other duties including recruiting coordinator, I think when you break it down that way, it's pretty fair.

What? What do you consider a long time, 1 year? What the hell is wrong with you?

Great News. Imagine if recruiting gets better than it is now, and we actually coach the D-Line to be as aggressive as they used to be. This could be better than Bo Pelini's best. Too early to tell, but the leadership should be there.

My only concern is whether all of this leadership can function well together. I think with Les at the helm, they can.

Yeah I'm hoping the coaching staff and co-exist. Teams can have problems if they try and have too many generals running trying to run the show. If it all works out though we will be one hell of a team to reckon with.

YES! This D needs violence.

Can't believe I'm the first to post anything about this.
