Those stats would also speak to the conditioning of our team relative to other teams. I think our lines control the LOS late in games.

Agreed. Conditioning is the reason we can keep on fighting while other teams are winding down

Where did you learn mathematics?
If you simply average those you get 51 on O and 44 on D out of 131 FBS schools.
But they keep records, and because it is not quite as simple as averaging the quarters, we can get their actual team average from the NCAA.
LSU is ranked 29th (35.1) on scoring offense and 30th (21.12) on scoring defense. Well above average

Strength and conditioning program is elite. We seem to get stronger as the came goes on, and it shows.

No, what you are seeing is actual adjustments being made by coaches that don't need sub titles to be understood.
