If LSU runs the table do you think they make the playoffs?

Feel we would be left out because of two losses and the perception that the SEC is weak this season.

Runs the table, yes. That means we beat #1 Bama, most likely Top 5 A&M, Top 15 Arkansas, Florida, Ole Miss, then potentially Top 7ish Tennessee East winner.

The story of CEO running the table to a championship would be surreal for this fanbase that has endured so much in 2016.

I imagine that would give us an SEC title, would really doubt we get left out.

Yes. SEC championship plus the story of the turnaround after changing the HC would weigh heavier than the two losses. It would be easy to justify given who we beat and the story behind how we did it.

Absolutely. No doubt. The team is considered Top 4 talent, and if they go on a run, and wipe Alabama, Ole Miss and A&M from the West, before dispatching (likely) Tennessee in the SEC Championship game...? There would be no more impressive streak in any Power 5 conference. Louisville/Houston are the wildcards.

It's a big ask--scratch that--HUGE ask, but I would hardly be surprised if it happened. I love Coach O pushing to a more NFL style week, with less time on the field, and more time in the football classroom. They need to sit #7 until he's genuinely healthy. Guice, Williams and Brossette are capable to shoulder the load.

If we get a little help we could get in. We wouldn't even need the world to fall apart like 07, we would need two of the other P5 conferences to have two loss champions and Houston to loose at least one game (probably Louisville at this point).

But it's still overall unlikely that we win out or that things shake out like we would need them to.

To run the table? It would take weeks after the end of the football season for me to even believe it really happened.

Agreed, I think that LSU body of work will put them in the playoffs.

To be in the playoff if possible, LSU has to win out 9-0 which is an impossible task for O.

At this point we can hope to play spoiler and upset a few teams. That's about all we should realistically hope happens
