So why don’t media outlets report QB stats lumped into one in that case? There isn’t a single reputable sports reporter anywhere who would combine passing and rushing without saying “total”, because it generally implies that the quarterback had a MUCH better game than he actually had.
Holy fricking dumbass
it’s hard to believe that some of you are actually this stupid. I can’t just single out the QUARTERBACK’s passing stats, and say that he didn’t throw the ball well because of a miracle 70 yard run. Jesus Christ

here is my thoughts, LSU D is good enough to keep Clemson out of the end zone, more than half of their possessions. I believe that is enough to win by 3 scores.

They have two guys who are both just as good as or better than CeeDee Lamb and he had some success against us. Plus Lawrence is miles ahead of Hurts. Venables will have their defense ready.

Tee Higgins will be a first round pick in May and Justyn Ross will be a first rounder next May. Both guys are 6'4" freaks.

Yep, then OSU scored 7 points on their last 8 drives.

Lawrence played against one of the best defenses in CFB (quite possibly the best) and threw for 260 and 2 TDs and added 107 yards and a TD on the ground.
I am sorry. My bad.... Seemed pretty dick riderish to me. Especially since you told me my post was ill informed but this is the stuff you have posted since then....
Clemson has not played anyone this year except for OSU, with a hobbled quarterback that was beating them easily and then started making stupid mistakes. Clemson did not beat them. OSU beat themselves. OSU receivers were open all over the field during the game. Not sure what game yall were watching. And if Lawrence doesnt make that one run. Game over.

Yea except that isn’t how they’re presented in the box score. They’re separated for some reason in the box score between rushing and passing

Ohio State gave up more points in their last 5 games, when they actually started playing teams with a pulse, than LSU did. There were 3+ defenses in the SEC that were functionally better than them.
Keep telling yourself this and maybe it will come true.

Do they count towards the total stats? Did his rushing touchdown count towards the teams points? Or do quarterbacks only get credit for passing touchdowns?
What about when Joe Burrow converts third downs rushing, or when he gets rushing touchdowns? Do those count?

I’m sorry but you’re an idiot and your opinion doesn’t matter, if you agreed with me it’d mean that I was a dumbass too. I know your name specifically because you say such dumb outlandish shite so consistently on here.
You got it though, Tee Higgins and Justyn Ross, who weren’t even in the top 20 in receiving yardage this year, are both better than CeeDee Lamb who was the Biletnikoff runner up, and Trevor Lawrence was an absolute worldbeater against Ohio State with 50% and 2 TD’s. fricking moron

If you watched the OSU CLEMSON game you'd see Clemson isnt that good. Osu should've beaten this team by 2 to 3 tds. Bucks got the bad breaks.

Auburn and Georgia have better D's than Ohio State.
Michigan threw for 250 in the first half.

They have played far inferior opponents and didnt set the world on fire against them.
after a scare against UNC they won:
45-14
45-10
59-7
59-14
55-10
52-3
38-3
62-17
So define not set the world on fire? I mean everyone knows their schedule was garbage but they destroyed everyone after the UNC game

I don't see how that has anything to do with how good they are. Omar Bayless has more receiving yards than Ja'Marr Chase, doesn't mean he's better.

I never said that.

Thank you.... finally someone with sense. Michigan... Michigan.... Clemson has not played anyone this year. And their so great and awesome quarterback only threw for 50 percent against OSU. Believe what yall will. LSU walks away with this one by 20+ and Brennen plays the 4th quarter.

I think LSU handles them quite easily and pulls away early but they are much more dangerous on offense than Oklahoma was.
Really though, Ohio State was the better team in that game and should have won that game but all the breaks went Clemsons way. This Clemson team is not on the same level as last years Clemson team. Bama would blow the doors off them this year and LSU will as well.

No one is judging a pocket passer’s performance based off of one anomaly run. Not sure how anyone can argue this. If a pocket passer goes 3/27 with 60 yards passing and 1 TD, and ends up running for 90 yards in the final seconds to win their game 14-7, no one will excuse his terrible throwing performance or expect his team to win the next game because of his rushing ability.
Lawrence had a below-average game throwing the ball, and in the context of his next game, which is key because rantards can’t stay on topic and compartmentalize discussions, the rush didn’t mean anything.
Anyone with half a brain can see that his rush was a statistical anomaly and isn’t likely to happen again this season. Repeated 50% performances against upper tier competition is cause for concern, and is 1000x more likely to hurt Clemson than another 70 yard rush is to help them.
You are an idiot if you don’t understand this.

hoping Burrow plays all the way through and we don't let up one iota. Would be nice to just grind them into the ground and kill whatever hype they are building over there

I never said that...ever. The truth is the biggest blow was losing Wade. He’s the glue of that defense. Once he was ejected I knew we were screwed because our offense was limited due to Dobbins’ and Fields’ injuries. It was the right call though per the rules. He didn’t play vs Michigan and they exposed it early until we made adjustments. However, Clemson is not Michigan. Comparatively speaking it would be like LSU losing Delpit or Stingley. Yes they have capable backups but there’s a huge gap.

Dabo will be down 3 TD's before he gets the headset adjusted.... then he'll have that 1000 mile stare.

I say LSU wins by 30 and that's because I'm such a huge fan.
