Do you think Trevor Lawrence can beat LSU with his legs? Again, you’re taking out of context padded stats against terrible competition and relating it to the one game that actually matters at this point, where he’s going to be going against a buzzsaw of an offense which just put up 49 points in a half.

Lawrence has rushed for more than 50 yards 3 times this season, and he’s never had a multiple rushing touchdown game.

50 yards and 1 TD on the ground isn’t going to beat LSU. Not sure why I have to keep explaining this to you, he’s not Lamar Jackson. He won’t and can’t beat LSU on the ground.

When did I say he is Lamar Jackson? When did I say he can beat LSU on the ground?

You're making shite up dude. And telling me I'm just throwing shite at the wall.

Nah pretty sure you came in here saying this stuff... You didnt agree with what I was saying so immediately I am just ill informed.

You know I think people are finally starting to get tired around here with people just so ready to shite on everyones parade when we are all suppose to be LSU fans here. The past month or so here it has really started to show. You dont want to support LSU whole heartedly then this isnt the place for you. And apparently the admins dont care that people dont then I expect alot more of posters to start lashing out at people that say anything negative.

I also don't know where Burrow stands regarding Colt McCoy's career pass completion percentage record, but I hope he gets that one, too.

He'd have to go 18/30, 22/35 or 26/40 to drop below McCoy's percentage.

ah ok I gotcha.... so saying I think we win makes all the talking up of Clemson like you play for them better. I see.

LSU board buddy, dont like positive stuff about an LSU team when we are playing lights out then pretty sure you can find better places to post.

Clemson is our next opponent. All I did was compare them to OU and say they are better. Still said I think we win.

Why should an honest discussion about our opponent not be allowed?

Thank you.... finally someone with sense. Michigan... Michigan..

You make it sound like Michigan is some MAC scrub team (yes they are always overrated, but overrated =/= bad) Patterson was a 5* recruit and Harbaugh has done well with QB's in the past. They had 305 passing in a game they were behind, that's hardly terrible performance from a D. Nowhere near as bad as we we did vs Ole Miss, which i think we would agree was a aberration.

This is laughable. I'll be courteous and give you Tee Higgins as "just as good" as Cee Dee, but Ross is nowhere near that level. Ross is not as good as Terrace Marshall. If Ross were at LSU, he'd be seeing the same amount of reps as Racey/Dillon, if that.

EDIT - If you're referring to Overton, I have even worse news.

You right... But dont make it seem like thats was what you were originally doing.

Clemson will not beat LSU, and we will win running away from them. FACT. Dont nut hug them. Dont try to make them the greatest ever when they arent playing anyone and their stats arent the greatest with that level of competition... including OSU after the last few games. And OSU should have wont his game also.

But I get what you saying and understand it.

So again...

Because you just said that I’m wrong about Trevor Lawrence not being a rushing threat by posting about his 500 yards and 8 TD’s like it’s some kind of gotcha?

He’s had zero or negative rushing yardage 3 times this season.

If you don’t have a point then why are you still talking btw? If he can’t beat LSU on the ground, then why are you still arguing that his rushing stats are important and relevant? That’s been what I’ve been asking for the last 5 posts

He's up there with Ja'Marr Chase in every mock/prospect ranking, so if you think Ja'Marr is as good as CeeDee (I do) then he's in that ballpark too.

Have you seen Michigan play offense this year outside of that game?? And I think everyone can agree we dodged a bullet not getting Patterson. Harbaugh coaches like Miles coaches with his offense so that makes it even stranger as to why they had so many passing yards against OSU

???? It is. He has more rush yards than Joe and double the TD's and we call Joe a rushing threat.

He isn't going to beat us solely on the ground (just like Joe won't) but to ignore the rushing stats completely would be ignorant. Just like it would be ignorant to ignore Joe's ability as a runner

Because your "Honest" discussion is not based on facts. It's not based on statistics and it's not based on their quality of opponents. Statistically, Cee Dee Lamb is ranked #5. Clemson has a receiver ranked 20th and one 82nd. That does not make them better. And they're definitely not better than Alabama's 3 receivers based on statistics and quality of opposing defenses.

And then after I tried to let you off the hook you go right back to nut hugging Clemson. There aint no where in hell that Ross is as good as Chase. And Chase isnt in any mock draft stuff this year he cant come out. CeeDee is light years better than Ross also. Ross is only being talked about because of measurables. Not because of what he had been doing this year. Because he hasnt..

You jumped in the conversation saying Lawrence isn't better than Hurts.

Hurts had as good or better of a statistical season against better competition and was in New York while Lawrence sat at home. We’re not comparing Kyle Trask and Joe Burrow, Hurts is a very good QB and Lawrence didn’t have a great year.

Also lol at you acting like my posts aren’t valid because I called you a dumbass, which you are. Kinda desperate to be right huh, that attitude is what got you here in the first place

There are mocks for 2021 out and they all have ross in the first round. Some have Chase higher some have ross higher.

Who cares what a mock says? What did the mocks say about burrow before this year?
