That's a really dumb line of thinking. Like, absolutely fricking stupid. Plenty of superstars are minimally outspoken. Lebron James comes to mind. Ya know, the same Lebron who is about to sign a billion dollar deal with Nike.

Plenty of people do give a frick what superstars think.

Face it, if Leonard were outspoken for right wing politics, you'd be praising him. But he's not, so you think he should just shut up and play football.

You'll deny that, but we both know it's true.

What LF is doing is showing bigotry. He is prejudiced against cops

You are so full of shite, dude - The dead guy has a funeral coming up; is no-one allowed to attend it without being labeled a bigot and cop-hater? That T-shirt literally has no words upon it, but that doesn't stop you from reading a lot of bullshite into it

Wearing a shirt is being a bigot? Look, that video wasn't conclusive either way. People will have different opinions.

I'm so disappointed with this fan base on this board right now

This thread should be deleted IMO. So much ignorance

I may not agree with the wearing of the shirt, but I have so much respect for Leonard that I can't be upset. I've watched this young man honor is commitment to LSU, become a great Father to a beautiful baby, work his arse off for this football team, stay out of trouble and stay positive all the while. Leonard has earned the right to wear that shirt and he's earned the respect of this fan base. Let that young brother do what he feels is right.

The number of long-term unemployed Americans has dropped by 614,000 under Obama, but it is still 761,000 higher than at the start of the Great Recession.

These numbers only work if you use the Progressive Obama way of calculating unemployment. You just arbitrarily decide to remove the hundreds of thousands of people who have been out of work for so long that they have given up on trying to find a job and then all of a sudden the numbers look so much better dont they!

And lets not even attempt to discuss the Health Care drivel you spewed about 15 million fewer w/o insurance because its been clearly established that "Obama Care" has been a complete and utter travesty for the very people that it was supposed to help Poor and middle class. And just take a little look at how many jobs are being and will eventually be lost due to Oregon's minimum wage increase.

Try not to just pull numbers from the Huffington Post or Move-On sites and actually look at the real numbers from a non-biased group.

He honestly hasn't been attacked. Some have disagree with his atance(me being one), but I haven't seen him attacked for it besides maybe one poster. Although I ra'd for the thread to be moved simply because I don't want this shite associated with Lsu at all

Fournette has been a class act from day 1. When attacked personally he's always (to my knowledge) taken the high-road.

That he would don the t-shirt of Sterling shows poor judgment to a point. But it's also more of a commentary on the voices prevalent in the black community than on him.

You've provided nothing to actually dispute anything he's said.

Yep, Tiger Woods is a role model for his history of avoiding controversy.

But plenty of people dont give a frick what Lebron thinks about real issues outside of his sport and if he offends them (and u know how easily the PC Regressives are offended) they dont buy his products which means less money. You may think MJ and Tiger and Kobe were "fricking stupid" but it seems to have worked out just fine for them.

You also have to take into account that Leonard has seen things that most of us...thankfully will never see with our own eyes. Robbery and murder to name just a couple. He's a young man who may not have the benefit of years like many of us, but don't doubt for a second he hasn't already lived a lifetime of experiences. I'm about as far right as anyone on this board but I'm appalled at the so called LSU fans who would attack Leonard over showing support for his community. As pointed out, if he was wearing a t-shirt showing support for the LEO's, all those bashing him on here would be singing his praises.

You would give a lot of fricks if Leonard were a right wing voter who was outspoken

You know it

Bottom line is BLM officially became a domestic terrorist group last night with the public intent of killing white people. Any player that supports BLM today, as it stands, can kiss my arse.

I have no problem supporting the struggle of black folk, but not as it relates to BLM.
