No same man steps into death valley twice. For he is not the same man and it is not the same place of worship

The numbers I have found on COVID in Louisiana:
671,000 cases
12,226 deaths
Thus “only” 1.8% death rate- 98.2% live

Population of Lousiana is 4,600,000
Thus about 15% of population has tested positive (not perfect numbers)

We all want to get back to normal.
Why not reduce your chance of illness/death and those around you chances of illness/death by receiving a vaccine to prevent your illness and transmitting it to others.

Vaccine is proven to reduce your chance of getting COVID. Vaccine has proven to reduce severe COVID significantly. I would think the vast majority would want this

Unless we suppress this illness, variants will spin off and one of them may be much worse than the original COVID, even worse than Delta. We need to all do our part to prevent this for us, our families and others.

How many they have record of? The actual # is probable that # times 10.

Just take the vaccine so we can get back to normal is such a poor take.

The Phizer vaccine keeps people from getting deathly sick.

The Phizer vaccine keeps our hospitals from being overwhelmed.

If the vast majority take the vaccine, it’s much harder for the virus to mutate into something worse.

Those are the facts!

There is NO way any reasonable scientist would put his name on those "facts" in the amount of time it's been out. It takes YEARS to formulate an scientific theory and prove it. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm saying you can not definitively say anything right now with certainty.

The only people going to Tiger Stadium that will be covid positive are the "vaccinated". All others have to show covid negative tests results to be able to enter.

What percentage of "vaccinated" people who are covid positive is acceptable to you?

Seems that it is 100% to the LSU admin.

It is possible that 50% of the crowd can be covid positive. It is not probable but possible. What number of covid possible people is acceptable to you?

What if you had Covid in the last two weeks and did not get the vaccinated? My doctor told me not to get tested for the next 90 days.

Not living in BR i don’t get a ton of BR or LSU news thrown at me daily. I get headlines and initial reports not always updates or clarifications, so i have also wondered if they have addressed prior infections within 90 days.

You could still test positive even if no longer sick, and a vaccine so soon after infection & recovery (possible some recovery still happening) could potentially be harmful. Plus you more than likely are better protected from delta for at least several months than vaccinated.

The answer should be obvious if this action is about slowing the spread and science.

Side note - Regardless of LSU’s position I would still get an antibody test after 15 to 21 days have passed from onset of symptoms or your positive test to confirm you had a proper immunological response giving you some immunity in future.

Why were there no variants until after the vaccines were introduced? Curious, no?

Why would childhood illness need to be irradiated (sic)?

Aside from that why need they be eradicated? Asking for a friend.

To White Tiger:
Why would childhood illness need to be eradicated? Are you referring to COVID?

Because this illness- COVID- is an illness that causes illness and death to all ages, especially the elderly.

Other “childhood illnesses” suppressed by childhood vaccines given in U. S.:
- Rubella caused birth defects (cataracts, hearing loss, still birth) in pregnant mom
- Polio caused paralysis in all ages
- Meases caused pneumonia, encephalitis- sometimes leading to deafness (1/1000); Death (1-3/1000)
- Pertussis (whooping cough)- pneumonia and convulsions, apnea- 1% die
- Diptheria (respiratory illness with death rate of over 10%)- 15,000 died in US in 1921

Amazing the difference vaccines have made in illness prevention.

To White Tiger- Re: Variants

Most viruses mutate constantly, trying to improve their survival. These mutations, when they become prevalent are called variants. Regarding this Corona Virus, there are, at present, 13 major variants- for example Delta resulting from over 20,000 mutations, thus far. We should all fear a variant that is more virulent and resistant, thus more deadly. These variants/mutations are NOT caused by the vaccine. The Corona Virus is constantly trying to get better at replicating, so it mutates. There have been mutations/variants present starting the first few months of the virus’ existence.

What if a "vaccinated" person is covid positive? How are these restrictions stopping the virus?

I see multiple vax people test positive everyday I work, I’ve seen probably less than 10 out of thousands, that are confirmed + twice without vax

So you agree that there will be "vaccinated" covid positive people in Tiger Stadium? And no one else will be covid positive per their negative test results?

In what clause of the Conjobstitution is fedgov authorized to regulate the practice of medicine, ban drugs, print money and employ national police forces?
I'd argue that fully 80+% of all federal laws/regulations are unconstitutional.

The Founders wanted a small federal government with little power. That's why the Constitution specifically lists out the powers that the federal gov't has.

If it's not specifically listed, the feds don't have that power and it belongs to the individual states.

But the federal gov't has gone far, far, far beyond what the Founders intended and what the Constitution requires. And it sickens me.
