I called LSU before reading this post.

The student worker told me that Rapid test results won't be accepted because there's a better chance of false results. Funny, my scientist sister told me that the PCR has a lot of false positives. In fact, my dearly departed dad had a false positive before he passed away from Non-Covid old age.

It's hard to follow the science when you get fed conflicting information.

The claim is that the polio vaccine eradicated polio, but it has resurfaced by another name. Where is the evidence that any vaccine has eradicated any disease? I would like to see it?

White Tiger:

As you say “claim of eradication of polio by vaccine”.

LINK

Read this and understand how devastating Polio was in the past and how successful the vaccine has been against this disease.

Look at the FACTS, do not just express your personal opinions.

Not to burst your bubble, Dad, but the CDC's claim that this happened is not proof. Fact is there is no proof. The incidence of polio was declining prior to the release of the vaccine. Rarely to children die or suffer serious problems from childhood illnesses. Vaccines have not necessarily changed that inasmuch as they cause death and disability as well.

Fedgov provided blanket immunity from product liability to all vaccine makers in 1986 and establish a special federal court to handle and claims of death or injury due to vaccine. Pharma lobbied for this because prior to that time they lost tort claims to the tune of millions of dollars evidently because plaintiffs were able to prove to juries that the vaccines were dangerous and that the manufacturers knew they were dangerous.

The bar for claim of injury from vaccine is higher than a standard civil tort case. The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program requires that the petitioner file in the US Court of Federal Claims the assumption in this court being NO FAULT! Read about the process if you are interested. It is a rigged system at best. Claims for potential Covid vaccine injuries are even more difficult.

Your post indicates that you have a poor understanding of the risks and benefits of childhood illnesses versus those of vaccines for the same. Sadly, most people are ill-informed as well.

Thanks, Dad, but this virus evidently does things heretofore unknown in viruses. How do we know that these viruses are not really exosomes?

its going to be a night for people trying to get PCR test results back in time. A bunch of people aren’t going to get them back by game day

Better have some fake test results handy

Does it seem strange that our policies are more demanding than a stadium in California, a state which has had the harshest and most restrictive policies since the COVID nonsense began? We require vaccines and negative tests. The Rose Bowl requires masks.

We require "vaccines" OR negative tests.

"Vaccinated" don't have to prove that they are negative.

Alabama has announced they will not require anything.

So Alabama, Georgia and Florida have all come out against this.

You may be right that Polio, Diptheria, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Pertussis, along with most common forms of Pneumococcal disease causing sepsis, meningitis, pneumonia, ear infections in children and Haemophilus influenza which causes sepsis, joint infections, meningitis in children have declined to a small fraction of what they were for a reason other than the introduction of vaccines targeted against them. Many would argue that since the decline of these childhood illnesses that caused much disease and death followed the introduction of the vaccine that the cause for the decline was the vaccine, BUT, you may be right.

As far as your exosome theory for the cause of COVID. You may want to share this with the thousands of scientists working on the problem of combating the virus to tell them you think it is an exosome.

2195 children die every day from
diarrhea. These current MRNA jabs will not eradicate this Coronavirus. You either join this forever ending booster program, or you don't. It should be your choice.

I'd believe a "student worker" is just reading their policy, which clearly says "PCR Test", not "rapid tests".

The question is - Will it really matter which test you got when you try to get in the stadium on game day?

My guess is probably not, but let me know how it works for McNeese.

It's because California has a higher proportion of vaccinated people and thus its hospitals aren't overrun with covid patients. Conversely, we have a low proportion of vaccinated people and thus our hospitals are overflowing with covid patients. We are going strict on vax requirements to try and prevent further hospitalization. The issue of masks is a red herring. California is liberal as hell, so they require masks. The thing that matters is vaccinations, and if enough people eventually get vaccinated, I anticipate that restrictions like this will loosen.

It is completely rational to think that there will be "vaccinated" covid positive people in attendance. They will be the only ones transmitting the virus. If the true goal of the LSU admin is to promote health and safety, then why do the "vaccinated" not have to prove that they are covid negative?

These restrictions are idiotic. Either everyone should have to show that they are negative are no one should have to show. It is that simple.

You know it’s all political theater when you can get a shot the day of the game and attend the game. Y’all have fun. I had China Virus 2 weeks ago and have antibodies, but antibodies aren’t good enough apparently.
