What in the actual frick? The amount of cheering going on in this thread is goddamned insane. Let’s impose more pointless restrictions and cheer them while doing so? Are the people in this state that fricking stupid? Masks for 5 year olds? Vaccinations for 12 year olds even though it’s not approved for people under 16?

I’ve loved growing up here. I loved going to school here. But I’m seriously considering leaving this state. Nothing is going to change with people this stupid.

“Well bye” is what I’ll get here, right? You’ll all be as virtuous as the band playing on the deck while the Titanic sank.

I'd be interested in the seats, but not paying for the tradition fund burden. ETA:Why would I pay for his fee to keep the tickets in his name? If I'm going to pay that fee, I want the rights to the tickets.

Dude, there have been thousands of season tickets available for years. IF you were serious about "scooping up tickets" you would have gotten them in your name years ago. Your post is disingenuous.

This is something people on both sides should consider. This is the least friendly state to everybody.

It's way less than 50% effective at preventing breakthrough infections- vaccinated people carry similar viral loads but for a shorter duration

I never realized the rant was host to so many virologists, epidemiologists and infectious disease experts. Who knew???

Just bring your ivermectin to the game and you should be fine.

The point being that those vaccinated have a much MUCH MUCH lower chance of a severe reaction that lands them in the hospital.

That people don't want to get vaccinated for this or anything else is their own decision, but when it begins impacting the ability of our hospitals to treat others in need of emergency care, that is a problem.

If it were the vaccinated people who were occupying beds, it would be a different story.

However, it is unacceptable that someone with a compound fracture or kidney stones needs to wait twelve hours for care because the beds are all occupied by mouth breathing retards who are either too stupid, or too brainwashed to take care of themselves. If you don't believe me, go ask you primary care physician or any other doctor you trust.

I'm really not sure why people can't seem to wrap their brains around this. Willful ignorance I reckon.

The results can come back in one day or in five days. If you get the test too early, you are outside of the 72 hours. The turnaround isn't consistent. People traveling in for the game aren't going to want to deal with that.

I did it 72 hours before a trip to the Turks and Caicos and was fine. Find a doctor with a reliable lab. It’s not that difficult. But good try trying to make me look stupid. You get an A for the effort, baw!

You realize people who have had Covid abd survived (99.8%) have more antibodies than anyone right?

1. L0L. The vaccines DO reduce the risk of transmission, and the data that has been cited as evidence of your proposition is being willfully misinterpreted by bad-faith actors who want the vaccines to fail.

Even in the light most charitable to this idea ("muh equal viral loads!") the data has shown that the load decreases at a quicker rate in the vaccinated. Try again.

2. Reduced chance of infection = reduced chance of transmission.

3. Guess this doesn't matter. Almost like if everyone is vaccinated in the stadium, any transmission that did occur would be effectively mitigated.

Cmon bruh

And now it looks like I could pick up more tickets for even cheaper.

Nothing disingenuous about it. Why would I pay full price for tickets plus his fee to keep the tickets in his name? Supply is about to seriously outweigh demand, and I would love to pick up extra tickets for sub face value.

ETA:I already have season tickets. But I have plenty of friends who don't and would like to bring them to games. If I can get cheap arse tickets because people refuse to go to games, then what's it to you?

They are "vaccinated" and they don't care about anyone else because this won't be a burden for them. The "vaccinated" are the truly selfish ones. Cheer on a mandate that won't change the transmission of the virus one bit. More rules and regulations that won't help anyone, YAY!!

Not unstudied ones. This isn't a vaccine anyway. It's a flu shot.

I had to get a covid test 2 weeks ago. It literally took 15 minutes. Pretty easy to get one before the game if you’re going to attend.
