No what’s not? There hasn’t even been an allegation yet just Pat Forde saying the same thing he’s said for years. If there is an actual NOA LSU will release the allegations, which sports they’re against and the response but that will take months after we actually receive the notice.

Ok allegations for what as in what for and when did this happen ? New stuff comes up every season but nothing ever comes of it.

It does appear that LSU Sources are starting to confirm it. There is a WBRZ article about it. Brody Miller is confirming it as well along with Seth Davis.

Fordes “sources” says programs, he spun the article to focus on Wade but again in reality we don’t even know what the allegations are or who they’re against yet.

Miller and Alexander used the phrase “major” to describe the allegations. Hopefully they’re just parroting Forde and they aren’t actually major.
If they are major it’ll be interesting to see if the NCAA ever uncovered actual facts or specifics about the payments, or whether they’re basing it all on the phone conversations

Correct. The media just ran with it that way. Wades lawyer even put out a statement years ago that the statement of “strong arse offer” was in reference to hiring an assistant coach.

What new information has surfaced? If this is about Smart he was cleared meaning no money changed hands. Wade could still be in violation just for offering payment but if Smarts situation was thoroughly investigated it seems odd that 3 years later they’re just finding out money was offered in that same situation.

The hope is they finally realized they weren’t going to get the smoking gun.
So they had to either shite or get off the pot and they decided to push forward with the allegations anyway because the sentiment outside of the lsu fan base is very much in favor of going after Wade because he happened to be on tape.

With oil prices souring surely some of our big alum to donate 10 million or so to the nonprofit “Save LSU from NCAA” nonprofit, which can hire Lightfoot law firm, and then let’s go to war just like Auburn did.
If they don’t have concrete proof we can wipe floor with them, even if they do we can nail them of selective prosecutions.
Louisiana lawsuits can last decades brothers, let’s chose war.
These are the guys to hire, send them 500k now

Tbh your AD is a fat and has a lot of drama. This is BS though. The NCAA does nothing turning amateurs into professionals but now attack wade. It’s dumb
