IIRC, Wade's contract says he can be terminated for cause if they receive a NOA. Not if the allegations are proven, just if they receive one. And LSU has apparently received one.

So Wade is likely gone.

You are an idiot if you think Wade is gonna be fired before any actual penalties are enforced.

Didn't we say this multiple times.

Football gave a self imposed bowl ban last year, which did the NCAA’s work for them. Basketball self-imposed nothing which means they have nothing. Football will get penalized, but basketball won’t get much of anything. Never admit an NCAA violation!

We don’t need an “out” with Wade. He’s a damn good coach

I personally agree. But for some reason Woody seems dead set on bringing in "his" guy and appears to be in fact looking for a reason to get rid of Wade.

ETA. Woody is also going to use this as an excuse not to extend Wade, which puts him a very tough position of recruiting while in the last year of his contract.

So LSU received it but are not commenting on it. Looks like we’re taking the Auburn approach. I like it.

Just do what Auburn did with Cam Newton and tell the NCAA to frick off. They can't subpoena you or anything.

I don’t know if he will immediately be terminated, but I guarantee he will not be renewed. Woodward has been disenchanted with this whole “strong arse offer” thing.

Now he’s pimping Merle Code promoting his book and podcast with Code. Forde loves to side with convicted felons and spread filth just like with Dawkins.

deny, deny, deny, and not to my recollection.

Anything other than that and you risk getting sanctions.

The Advocate had an article this morning about Coach Cregg allegations in his wrongful termination lawsuit. Does it have something to do with that?

Repay the 180k for Vadal’s no show job, we’ve already banned Odell and given that money back, and tell the NCAA to go frick themselves. The schools who comply are the ones that get hit.

Kansas received their NOA in September 2019, responded in March 2020, and still don't have any penalties or sanctions

Same people who told me in the summer of 2020 that O should not be comfortable are telling me this on Wade. Don't claim to have any insider info, but the stuff on O was accurate.

Why do posters keep trying to tell everyone what Woodward is thinking. Nobody here knows what he is thinking.

So why did he go to bat for Wade when he was hired as AD? That was the perfect opportunity to get rid of Wade and keep himself from any criticism but he did the opposite. This entire narrative that “Woody wants his guy” was made up here out of thin air.
