Defense currently ranks 89 in yards per play, 99 in points per play, tied for last in FBS in opponent red zone scoring percentage.

two big 'points of focus' by BK in the offseason were:
- getting off the field on 3rd down
- Special teams

This by far is the biggest problem with this defense. Can't get off the fricking field on 3rd down.

Against Arkansas, they gave up first downs on:
- 3rd and 9 twice
- 3rd and 10
- 3rd and 16
And as an added bonus, they blew coverage for a 59-yard TD on 3rd and 6.
If the 3 or 4 man rush doesn't get there (since that's all House does in those situations), we're fricked.

I would like to see our aggregate recruiting rankings of the starters and rotational players......it wont be in the hundreds.
