He’s a man on a mission. I’m just imagining him throwing that thing all over the place to our talented receivers. Should be fun!

I think everyone just needs to relax on having favorites. This is a legit competition. Sit back and enjoy it. These guys are fighting to lead the tigers.

You must not have heard what people who go to practice have been saying. He’s been a team leader and has impressed on the field. He goes first in every drill and took all of the 1st team reps in the 11 on 11 on Saturday. He has been reminding everyone about that arm of his. He’s winning right now, but Daniels could catch up.
What does that have to do with having a head start or not?

Brennan is older and wiser but he didn’t play at all last year and missed most of the season in 2020. So realistically he hasn’t had game experience since Sept 2020. From the looks of it he gained weight (not the good kind) and has had two injuries that sidelined him for months at a time. I’d say his competitive advantage is gone.
That being said I still think he is your starter.

Before Daniels transferred in Brennan was the de facto starter. Now, it is more probable than not he won't be the starter.
Kelly can't give guarantees, but you have to think Daniels knew he was going to be the likely starter when he decided to come here. I mean, he came here after Brennan was already here. That says a lot.

Myles obviously has a significant head start
daniels has a ton more starts as a college QB and the playbook is completely different. what are you talking about?

Older doesn’t mean wiser when one of the guys you are competing with has more starts than you in their career.

Max was NOT up for this competition. I wish him well, but he bailed instead of balled, and so, now he's Tiger Bait!
Love seeing this competition. 4 good QB candidates. Love it!
Max is running with the 2's behind that QB that was injured last year at A&M. He isn't going to win the job there but he'll be able to room with his brother I guess.

I didn’t type that maybe reply to the one who did before calling me illiterate.

IMO, if you are Brennan you have to know where things stand after the spring. If the goal is to be a starting QB, not just at LSU, can you risk going through summer workouts and preseason camp with no assurance that you will be the starter vs. FSU? If he does that and Daniels is named the starter for the FSU game then Brennan, as a 6th year senior, has wasted any shot of being able to transfer and start next season and for his career since this season is it for him. At that point his only chance of getting on the field as a started is injury to Daniels and/or poor play. If neither of those happens Brennan ends his LSU career as a backup.
Perhaps Brennan values being at LSU more than being a starter and is willing to risk being named the backup in the fall. He would be the RARE power conf. QB to have that attitude. But he has to know firmly where he stands after the spring. He no longer has the luxury of time.

Wow never heard of this concept before. Saban won't know what hit him.

Some of you guys are hoping Brennan is not the starter. You guys need to pull for Tulane. Ya'll are losers.

Well I mean Myles wasn't up for it either I guess.
Considering he decided to enter the portal until Max left then decided well guess I'll head back since I don't have competition, then Kelly takes another qb to challenge him.
Surprised he didn't bail again

Don't care who's the starter as long as it's the best man for the job.

Why do you guys forget that Myles passed for over 17 thousand yards in HS, broke Brett Favre's Mississippi state record, which he still holds? Even over 4 yrs in HS, that is over 6000 yards per year. That is incredible!!! No telling how good he might have been, had he not been injured! Have you seen him now? No more bean pole! Don't underestimate him!
