Can someone fill me in on Mulkey's beef with Waco? It's not like she got fired at Baylor.

I don’t think it’s necessary, but maybe there is some bad blood there.

She was winning national championships and was dominate. A new President came in and took support away from her to put more emphasis on things like football, men's basketball, etc. They were arrogant in thinking she would not go anywhere else because of what she had built.
Basically Mulkey seems like the type that took that as an affront and now she is on a mission to show them they made a huge mistake. The billboard is probably serving two purposes, poke in the eye and to let many Mulkey fans in the area that she is back in the final four and to watch it.

It’s a little petty, but we’ll have some fans traveling through/from Houston to Austin and pass Waco on I-35N on the way to Dallas. At least enough for plausible deniability. Of the Final Four was in Atlanta or somewhere, that’d be harder to explain.
But who paid for it? Maybe it was some Baylor folks taking a shot at their AD for not giving Kim what she wanted and letting her walk.
