I’m ok with the decision. At least we now have something firmly in writing that everyone agrees on. Likewise we have a designation of authority that everyone agrees on.
Admittedly, I was also ok with these players getting another year.
I can see both sides of the situation and I’m fine with whatever is decided.

The Southeastern Conference is not a public entity and therefore is not subject to the FOIA.

The only reason Lane was pushing it is because every other school had the opportunity to do it. Now that no one in the SEC can do it he doesn't have a problem with it.
