LSU players entering the NFL draft

Interesting topic on the radio today. Big name players from other schools are not entering early. Guys on the radio said the players from LSU declaring draft eligible may be from the players not thinking they could stick around to compete for a national title. The players they mentioned from other schools coming back are high potential draft picks so making immediate money is not the answer for them.

Big name players are leaving other schools. Fake news

Clemson is bringing most of their players back

It’s a case by case situation. You can’t blame a guy like Guice being a RB for leaving. He’d be foolish not to

Here comes the CheeriOs.

Good lord. LSU had 20+ players declare early for the draft from 2012-2013. Everything isn't about Ed Orgeron

Every year you have some big name players come back, every year you have some minor players leave.... I mean shite LSU benefited from players such as Chark last year coming back.

Every year this comes up but is not different from any other year.

Meanwhile multiple first round picks are coming back for the Clemson's and Bama's of the world.

I wouldn't call Chark a big name player and the end of last year. Kid was raw and was never going to go high(first 3 rounds) in last years draft. That said, Nobody loses juniors who are late round or undrafted like LSU. So yeah we we're lucky to get an unpolished inexperienced WR with 26 receptions for 466 yards to come back for his senior year.

What first round picks for Alabama are returning? I know two players are returning but first round picks they are not. They have had 5 declare, however

FWIW five Alabama juniors have already declared for the draft: Scarbrough, Ridley, Payne, Fitzpatrick, and Harrison. Only two who could have gone are coming back: Harris and Buggs. So .... 5 of 7 Bama guys left.
Georgia has lost two: Smith and Thompson. Three more have not decided: Baker, Gaillard, and Godwin. Two have said they are coming back: Reed and Ledbetter. So 2 of Georgia's 7 guys are gone, with another 3 still undecided.
Auburn has lost four: Johnson, Pettway, Davis, and Holland. One is coming back: Russell. So Auburn has lost 4 of 5 guys.

LSU loses six: Guice, Clapp, Weathersby, Key, Jackson, and Toliver. Two have said they are coming back: Brumfield and Battle. LSU loses 6 of 8.

This mass exodus was the beginning of the end for LSU as a championship contender.
To make matters worse, LSU's over all talent and experience dwindles each year we lose multiple juniors that could improve their draft stock with another year.

I think the only two that could help their case is toliver and weathersby. Jackson is going to test well at the combine and will get picked up in the first 3 rounds. Toliver has so much potential but didn’t put it all together this year.

There's your problem right there.
Was his name Buddy or was it Matt?

What first round picks for Bama? I follow it pretty close and don't see one projected in the first round staying. I thought it right the opposite in that we have minkah and Ridley and maybe daron Payne but the rest are questionable, later round guys. We will have some that will develop into first rounders next year but not projected for this draft to be first rounders. Curious as to where u got your information.

Chark is a bad example cuz he hadn't done anything to warrant going pro. Tre white and Beckwith were better examples in 2016z
