I'm normally all for self expression, but within the team, I appreciate uniformity. It is a part of the preparation, much like the precision of the military.
It's the small things that help to weave the fabric of a true team. Everyone buying into the same rules. Express yourself with your play.

Nobody wants that - the players are a reflection of the university in all that they do and say, both on and off the field.

LSU has always had a professional attitude when it comes to its baseball team. A lot of people shite on the Yankees but guess what. They win and they carry themselves as such. No need for ridiculous facial hair, it isn't high school ball anymore. You show up, you take care of business, you win, you go home champions.
