From attending a game, Kevin Gausman. He came down to the BP after a CSF game to get his bag. My son, who was 12 at the time, had a foul ball from the game and asked him to sign it. He did with a smile, and my son still has that ball displayed in his room (he is now a FR at NCSU).

From watching/listening to a game - LSU catcher Brad Cresse during the 2000 College World Series.
He came to the plate in the national title game against Stanford with the scores tied 5-5 in the bottom of the ninth with runners on first and second. With an 0-1 count, Cresse cracked a sharp single through the left side of the infield which scored Theriot with the winning run to set off an explosion of excitement by the Tigers and their faithful.

I was on active duty in the USMC, sitting in a COC listening to the game via webcast. A few other LSU fans were with me. We went nuts!!!

Jennings for the game winning TD against Arky. Didn't contribute much after but was clutch on that drive.

Lionel Turner for game winning delayed blitz on white in 03 NC game.

I was going to add Skyler Green for the Georgia catch but he had so many others.

If it truly fits your category, you should be able to just name the player and everyone will know what play you're talking about. If you have to say what the play is, then chances are the player is not remembered for "that one play".

The student section was a frickin mish pit. Felt like a downpour from all the drinks being thrown. Think I ended up 4 or 5 rows lower than I started. Good times.

Marcus Quinn's interception in the end zone to preserve a 21-17 win vs Auburn in 79, I think. Quinn was a pioneer of sorts, being one of, if not the first St Aug player to come to LSU.
