I still think you going to Vegas is the best way to get to the Supers.

We haven't been good on the road. So call me crazy but I think we have a better chance to get to the supers as a #1 seed in Baton Rouge than a #2 seed in Vegas.

Doesn't change that your team choked away against lower quality teams and will be a number two seed. Those powerful LA teams kicked your a$$. Northwestern State, McNeese State and Southern. Oh wait, I forgot ULaLa and LA Tech.

I tried to be nice about it, but those are facts!

Facts are we kicked yours as well

There are 6 or 7 teams on your lists which are ahead of LSU.

NC State
Miami
UNC
Oregon State
Illinois
Indiana
UCSB
A&M

I think Illinois or Indiana will be given a Regional if they put in a bid simply because they are in the BIG and there is no team listed on your locks from the BIG.

Also, 6 of the teams I listed have a higher RPI than LSU. It is going to be hard for LSU to host a Regional unless they go far into the SEC Tournament. Hell they may have to win it to host.

I got the chance to go a few years back but didn't get to enjoy much.

Got away for a few hours one night and went to top golf. Hell of a view!

Kicked our arse? You won game one on a dropped fly ball that should have been caught.

Congrats on your moral victory.

If LSU doesn't pussyfoot around tonight and win then both A&M and LSU will host.

You should ask Arkansas if those count.

When a team wins the game, it's NOT a moral victory. It's just a victory...

I think we have to win 2 and make it to Friday/Saturday. 2-2 at worst to host.

To be safe I'd like to see us make it back to the single elimination portion of the tournament before we lost (if we don't win the whole thing, of course).

If we want to feel 100% safe, then yes.

As discussed before, it's possible that LSU is already a lock in the committees eyes, or possibly still need a lot to host (depending on what the committee weighs the most). With 2 wins, I would feel it's a certainty. With a L tonight, I wouldn't feel great. A lot depends on what other teams do.

If I'm remembering right it's been quite a while since a 17-win SEC team has hosted a regional.

It's been even longer since a 16-win team hosted. I think aTm's chances are not as great as they think because the committee has generally taken conference results into very high consideration.

That all obviously changes if aTm makes a run to the SECT finals.

I’ll feel good about our chances if we win tonight. Lose tonight and I think they can go ahead and pack their bags. 2 wins and I’ll put money on a Baton Rouge regional

Remember way back to February when we played and beat Army the first weekend of the season?

Army beat Navy 4-3 to win the Patriot League Tournament for the second consecutive year this past weekend to become the automatic qualifier from that conference for the NCAA tournament.
