True. Not a talent issue, coaching is LSU’s problem.

Damn, every day there is a new OP with a new "excuse" for Orgeron.

Let's pick one:

_____ Quarterback will not be ready.

_____ Too many Freshmen

_____ The legacy of Les Miles

_____ Offense is three years away

_____ We only have 35% of the offense installed

_____ Toughest schedule in years

_____ SEC has never been more competitive

_____ Lead the nation in players leaving for the NFL

_____ Miles depleted all the talent

_____ Nick Saban lost to a lower conference team

_____ But he makes fiery speeches ...

_____ 7 wins is a good season

_____ We are not a quarterback school

_____ O line didn't learn to pass block under Miles

Goldrush25 also contributed to this list.

O really needs to decide who is going to be his QB of the future, Brennan or Narcisse. The main knock on Brennan is his weight but you gotta think that he’s going to continue to bulk up with each passing season, which leads me to think that he will be the chosen one. Once he makes that decision he can design the offense around that particular QB’s strengths. I really think that he planned on starting Brennan, with some special red zone packages installed for Narcisse. McMillan’s performance in the spring game really threw a monkey wrench into the whole thing.

This style of offense will need to be in position long enough to get those recruits who can play the qb position and wr.....we need 5 star players to commit....until then, this highly skilled offensive scheme will sputter esp without a good rb...

Tough seasons ahead for lsu
so all those schools that have 3* players that have great offenses are great because of???
LSU has 4-5* receivers, 4* QBs, massive linemen and good RBs.

It’s about coaching. Always has been.

Added and I gave you credit.

I'm going to keep growing the excuse list.

The really good thing is "You don't have a fricking clue about what you're talking about. Post less, for you and your family.

The whole point of this style of offense was to be quick to learn and easy for college players to execute.

If you expect to develop every QB for 3 years before they’re ready to play you’re 10 years behind he times.

There is a reason 90% of WBs out there are “system” QBs. You have these kids 3-5 years may. And they can’t just be grasping the offense by the time they are juniors and seniors.

This reminds me of Lou Tepper saying it would take 4 years to install his defense.

Well, it’s taking at least three to install Aranda’s.

we gave up the least amount of TDs in the country with Aranda at DC and you still have rantards criticizing him
