Preseason rankings are worthless

Unfortuntely for Lsu, I think we have finished lower than our preseason ranking 6/7 years

So this year isn’t looking good

We have a better chance to beat Auburn this year than Miss State. We get Auburn early and I think we all know what it's like to play a young OL that hasn't played much.We lost by 4 points to them last year.

Not to be argumentative, but I seem to remember one of the best comebacks I've seen and beating Auburn last year...

For those who fret over preseason rankings, just sit tight through week 3. Beat Miami in week one and we move into top 20. Then beat Auburn in week three and LSU moves into top ten.

If we lose those two games, they were right not to rank us.

Never done this before but taking 1 month ban bets on LSU ending up as a top 25 team. Any takers?

Really going out on a limb there, aren't you.

Recruiting seems to be staying strong

WHAT!?! The lowest rated class in over a decade and you call that recruiting staying strong? Also, once the season starts, if O can't pull off a 10 win season, you'll see this years class tank really quickly.

hard to imagine a worse coach than les Miles so I’m optimistic

We already have a worse coach than Les Miles. You don't fire the coach with the highest winning percentage in your programs history to turn around and hire the coach with the lowest winning percentage in Ole Miss history. I'm wondering if you're just trolling at this point?

They don’t deserve to be based upon the endless amount of questions surrounding the offense and coaching staff. FWIW I also think they will end up in the top 25 at the end of the year.
