LSU not in top 25?

Sign of how far we’ve slipped in reality or just a media over exaggeration of the O is a buffoon narrative?
Personally I think it’s the latter.
Especially with Burrows signing on but even before that I can’t imagine we will end up outside the top 25.
Never done this before but taking 1 month ban bets on LSU ending up as a top 25 team. Any takers?

Recruiting seems to be staying strong and really hard to imagine a worse coach than les Miles so I’m optimistic

Go 7-5 and you prob aren’t ranked. I can see 5 or 6 losses on the schedule. Hopefully burrow will be legit. If so LSU could be a top 10 team.

Why would we be ranked? Bovada has our win total at 7. Are 7-5 teams usually ranked?
In case you didn't realize this, a lot people do not believe this LSU football team will be very good this year.

Do you realize how many games we would be an underdog in if the season stated today?
Here are the other teams we play who are ranked on that ESPN link:
Miami (8)
Mississippi State (16)
Texas A&M (23)
We would probably also be an underdog at Florida.

Vegas isn’t biased and they keep the lights on for a reason.
This team may win 5 games they may win 10. We honestly don’t know what LSU is going to look like but we know if they aren’t great it’s going to be hard to get to 9 wins with that schedule.
We know we have a really good defense and the best DC in the country.
Be we don’t know jack shite about this offense.
Who’s the most productive returning offensive play? Stephen Sullivan? Let’s see what E’s offense looks after 15 years.
QB: None have ever started a collegiate game.
RB: CEH had 9 carries for 31 yards last year.
WR: The most talented in the country imho. Let’s see if having two WR coaches pay off.
TE: Moreau and Pettigrew provide a plethora of talent and you gotta think E’s going to feature them.
OL:
Sahdiq is solid at LT
Ed Ingram will be solid at one G, Damien Lewis looks to start at the other.
C I’m worried about. I’m hoping Cushenberry or Brumfield step into this role.
RT is a question mark for me. Austin Deculus and Badore Traroe Have All American Talent. Hopefully the Cregg hire pays off here.

I’ll take the OVER all day long at 7. The D will be ELITE, Kicking/FGs will be improved. That alone would have won us 2 more games last year. LSU, even under O, with an OC he hated, was 3-4 plays from 10-11 wins.
Love or hate the hire of O, it wasn’t a complete failure last year considering the early injury’s. He’s built the depth back up in the trenches, went and got a QB, a kicker, and a STs coach.
He’s alleviated the downfalls from last year to this point. LSU will absolutely be in the top 15 after a week one ASSWHOOPING of Miami

It’s not rooting it’s predicting.
If I really thought we’d suck this year I’d say it but hope for the best.
Reality is I think we will be solid this year and definitely top 25 when everything settles.
Understand people have mixed feelings about O...I’m still in the post miles glow and feel our talent is high so optimistic.

I like your optimism and hope you're right, but this isn't last year's schedule. I'd take the over too, because I don't pull against LSU. But that schedule is daunting.
