To think all lsu really needed was about 8 sec wins to make tourney
Even average would have been enough

At this time, next year.. the program will get a spark.
Apparently a lot of CMM fans downvoting this comment

Theres teams in the SEC getting in with only 6 wins this year

Probably could have made it with 7 if they would stop losing by 10+ points

I’m just as disappointed with CMM and MBB as the rest of yall. Increased NIL support will show what we have in CMM. I think we take a step in the right direction next year.

It’s not like we haven’t had any talent, though. I’m hopeful, but it feels like an unnecessary lame duck year.

I’ve seen several other schools use the same nonsense line in regards to increasing nil for shitty coaches. All this is going to cause is NIL inflation. Unless schools increase it a significant amount this won’t do shite.

There has never been a limit on NIL support throughout McMahon’s three year tenure. So why hasn’t it been there and where is this “sudden increase” going to come from?
It’s a farce purposely sold by the AD to justify keeping the objectively worst HC for another year…obviously to great effect as it appears the majority of the LSU fanbase is wholly incapable of critical thinking

The only thing more nauseating than this NIL talking point are the talking points that McMahon gives the TV commentators in their pre game discussion. You know what I’m talking about, the sob story that every pair starts to rehash as the other team pulls away in the second half.

What does it take for people to realize Mcloser is a really bad coach, get hit upside your head. It doesn't matter if they actually throw more NIL money Mclosers way,it won't do any good he has had 3 years to do something! What has he done 14-40 in THE SEC. The worst record of any coach that LSU's had,and you can throw out any excuse you want there have been other coaches who came into the program and were faced with bigger problems than Mcloser has had to deal with! Face it he can't get the job done he's had 3 years of the same shite, blown leads, turnovers, team can't rebound, team can't shoot, they need a good point guard, there not big enough or tough enough in the paint, you name it these are all things a coach is responsible for and he can't get them fixed,on top of supposedly needing more talent we have heard that one to. A good coach takes care of all this, what has Mcloser done 14-40 and destroyed the men's basketball program. He has had 3 years it is past time to fire his arse and do the right thing and move on! Hopefully the Mississippi St. Game will be his last and the next morning Woody will give us all hope for next year by firing Mcloser!

Kind of like the narrative that firing Wade was necessary to save the football program.
It’s all a PR sale.

NC State just fired head coach Kevin Keatts. They better NOT try and steal McMahon away from our program. They better NOT reach out to him at:
1 S Stadium Dr, Baton Rouge, LA 70808
Phone: (225) 578-8627
I'm gonna be pissed.

That post is out of touch with reality. There’s a good portion of LSU fans that only listen to LSU sports state run media. These people believe and run with every narrative that’s put out to the them by the Woodward Administration. When the whole Baton Rouge media is running with the same narrative with zero pushback this is what happens. It’s like the woke mind virus and TDS.

He’s the most overrated AD in college sports.
