LSU can run this weak OOC schedule before SEC play. Would make for a fun start to SEC play at 12-0

With a likely top-10 Arkansas team coming to the Deaf Dome to start conference play…

Just checking in since halftime score.

Nice win!

Holding any D1 team under 60 is a good defensive performance, and scoring over 70 yourself is at least an average offensive game.

Although it has been against relatively weak competition, K-State's defense has been very good. Their HC is Scott Drew's long time assistant at Baylor. Like LSU, tonight's game will be the toughest opponent they have faced to date.

Also like LSU they have almost a completely new roster from last season with multiple guys with SEC experience. Notably Desi Sills (Arkansas), Cam Carter (Mississippi St....by way of Donaldsonville) and Keyonte Johnson (Florida) who was a preseason SEC POY pick before he suddenly collapsed during a game in 2020. They also have Jerrell Colbert from last year's LSU team (though he isn't playing). Hopefully he remembered to bring his jersey to Grand Cayman

Thier best player might be this guy Tomlin, a 6'10" athletic big who can hit 3's with overall great offense.

If nothing else, it’s good to see Johnson playing again and playing well. It looked like his career (and for a brief moment, his life) was over a few years ago.

Updated OP. Interesting that K State went to OT with Nevada. How is Nevada this year?

I may have to actually pay to watch the game at home as opposed to keeping up with stats at work. I'll try to update scores for LSU vs Kansas State.

If LSU wins the Championship, how do they transport an invisible trophy home?

LSU -1
Should be a tight game. It'll be a good test
